November 2, 200619 yr As I am progressing through the ranks, Im now halfway through unlocking the Assault tree, With the support tree done (thanks for sucking Ganz). Rank is coming slower, I have to wonder what would be a good kit for me? I don't snipe, but Im looking to unlock the weapons of the assault tree or going for the Anti Tank rifle. If you have both unlocked, tell me which you prefer, does the Anti Tank rifle blow RO style or is it an effective Direct Fire weapon? And how are the Assault weapons differ from the defualt weapon?
November 2, 200619 yr I just unlocked the rail gun, the upper left engineer unlock. It seems pretty powerful, with properly placed shots you can take down a mech in 2 hits. titan consoles are destroyed in 2 shots. I already have the entire recon class unlocked because I like sniping and the c4/clays. Not sure what I'm going to do next.
November 2, 200619 yr ive only unlocked the right assault side and all the abilities, I like using the defib and having the med packs
November 2, 200619 yr Medic Assault I would say is a must. Meds, defib and good gun. I got the Engineer Pilum (railgun) and yes it is powerful but if the MECH is near a supply crate it doesn't seem to matter if you have a nuclear bomb. You then need about 10 rockets to kill it.

November 2, 200619 yr The absolute best kit for EA's 2142 though is Ctrl. Alt. Dlt. When you Alt. Tab out you will learn this quickly.

November 2, 200619 yr i have the recon all unlocked,so i was trying out the engineers stuff hate it,so i've gone to support and i really like it.i think though in hide sight,you'd be better off just unlocking abilitys/sqaud leader stuff, first.the drones i really don't know much about,but the squad becon is a nice thing to have,and frags/faster running is a must have.
