Ok J lets say I know how to hack into your bank account? You think that would be ingenious? Yeah yeah it's against the law, but hey basically with hacking and glitching people don't give a damn about anybody but THEMSELVES thats why they do it. It's plain selfishness with no real talent!

I could care less how many points anyone else has, I never compare myself to anyone else. I use stats to track my progess, and that's about it.

 

Stat padders do annoy me, because they are taking up space on a server without helping their team, and that will not be allowed on any Armory server.

It is a GAME afer all. And no one's life or well-being is dependent on it. Shouldn't take it so seriously. To boot people for doing such from the server is =A='s call but to call it WRONG is another thing. lol.

 

Where do we all draw the line of what is fair and what isn't? Because I can tell you the fact is nothing will ever be fair espeically in the gaming world. And not everyone shares that idealistic spirit. Consider this. I'm sure there's been many times when you saw someone's feet sticking through a wall and you happily shot their feet or knifed them and killed them; would you really think, "No I shouldn't kill 'em". I'm sure you wouldn't spare me. . This is an exploit of the programming.

 

EA/DICE should just fix these things and be done with it.

Actually JPenn, you are dead wrong. I do not shoot at somebodies foot sticking thru a wall. I don't roll that way. I live what I preach. And yes, I would spare you.

 

And yes, I realise that not everybody shares that idealistic spirit. But while you are playing in OUR playground, you will play by that spirit or be shown the door, end of story.

What it gets down to, is the fact that this is a Multiplayer game. Therefore, what you do affects the gameplay of those around you. And if you don't have enough respect for those honest players around you to play the game it was meant to be played without the bugs, then you are really not somebody we want on our server. It Interfere's with the gameplay of the rest of us, therefore breaks one of our most fundamental cornerstones of our community.

Hoo hoo hoo hee hee hee bwahahaha. I'm glad I actually meant it when I said I wouldn't buy anymore BF games after BF2...... I wish FA was still around to complain about...... wait a minute, no I don't.

how obvious is a stats padder.... take for example Jpen, vs a team of strobes... its obvious Jpen is gonna have a massive score and seem to be stat padding.. where as all teh strobes will be whining and crying..

 

how would you feel, if someone made a decision sophism, that because you had an extra hundred score on everyone else, you were padding with the crappy guy who is at 50 deaths and 3 points on the other team, even if you werent..

 

Look at it from this point of view, the people who are stats padding, are generally not able to get the points through actually being good and playing normally.. where as the people who got the points legitimatly, have more practice, skill and ability than those unscrupulous smacktards who do stat-pad.

 

What i mean is, if they roll back, the people who actually did it legitimatly, will be able to acomplish their feats with relative ease, but if you did it by stats padding, you are gonna have to learn and work towards that which you have not done..

 

if they rollback, then its not a total reset, its a rollback of a few weeks i would rather them roll back and shave a few ranks/badges off that i know i can get back easily, than be knocked out of a decent rank by a bunch of retards who cheat..

BF1942, 'nam, BF2 have all had instances.. i know alot of people were saying that they werent buying 2142 because of patch 1.3.. and all of those people now have it, give them a chance, if a rollback is the only way, at least it means that EVERYONE is in the same boat, ratehr than having thousands of honest good players tarred with a brush because they are genuinly good...

Hey Shotty I usually take your post with a grain of salt, but this time I'm not!!!!!!!! If you would take the time to look I'm not doing that bad! And I am not even trying to keep up with JPen. Yes he is good BUT IF YOUUUUUU will check his TIME in game you will find out that his score is possible and that say for example one guy that I looked at a few days ago ... He was number one in global stats and he did not have the time in game, awards, ribbons, or other stuff that it should take to get there. To roll back for me would be crappy because one of the reasons I was able to play so much was I was taking Vacation days. Maybe you should stick to posting on the games you actually PLAY. Oh and one last thing I get tired of paying ALOT of money for a game and the makers trying to get out easy. MAKE EA DO THERE JJJOOOBBBBBBBBBBBBsssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
