IF you are gonna kick someone for ONE cuss word in the game shouldnt you be booting all that cuss on a regular basis?

 

I think we are all grownups and I can understand someone being booted for repeatedly cussing after being warned but give me a break one time? Especially after being in squads and hearing everyone in there let them fly? I played alot of the BF2 server and loved it, but somethings different since it has swapped to the 2142.

 

In case you want to view the chat logs it was little after 10 central time and my sig on 2142 is Navispl. I Called my buddy a "*****" for getting my dogtags since we have bene giving each other a hard time about who was gonna get whose first and then the nice PB boot by admin.

 

Cliffnotes: I broke a rule one time, that is repeatedly broken my members and I got the boot.

DBDriven i apologize for kicking you but language is still not an option. warnings are posted at regular intervals in the server. it was only a kick. you can just re-join the same round. I will not play favorites. No matter what the reason, keep it clean.

I looked thru the log and you swore only once as far as I can see. It is up to the kicking admins discretion not me. I just have to trust what he did was for a reason.

You weren't banned but only kicked so you can come back to the server.

Lets hear more on this, as evident by my rank I dont know a whoooole lot about stat padding but go ahead and humor me and explain that comment.

An individual by the name of navispl was firing at me with semi auto after tossing a med kit down next to me. There were NO enemies present on the titan in that hallway so there should have been no reason to pop off 10-12 shots at a teammate.This is a common stat-padder tactic, and according to what you said:

I see nothing that indicates an obvious stat padder.

 

EDIT I posted this as White Nine was posting his. I was not aware of this event. I'd like to hear DB explain this.

I can explain that, probably wont do any good but as you can see by my previous post i admit to what i do wrong. What I showed on my puter was me holding the medic pak, for some reason the stupid thing wouldnt drop which has not happened for me before so I continued to try and drop it. Only thing I can think of is either lag or my puter on my was causing problems and the first time i tried to drop it, it did but on my end it was showing it wasnt. I continued to try and drop it which if it had dropped would of swapped back to my gun and been shooting you each time i continued to try and drop it. I Apologize for whatever the cause was, i can assure you my last intention would be for what you described.

 

I heard you yelling stop it and even looked around to see who was shooting, as stupid as that sounds I had no idea you were talking to me until you mentioned my name and was confused because at that point I still had the medpak in my hands. Weird, I know and probably not gonna be believed but thats what was happening on my end, again I am sorry.

Actually, I can believe it. I've had it happen to me several times. There have been lots of occasions where I've tried to use a piece of equipment but instead of using it my gun will fire.

 

The game is buggy, I've also witnessed peaple reviving their friends but it was not a defib I saw them using, but a shotgun. They'd point to the ground, I'd here the gun go off... and then the corpse would revive.

 

This is completely plausable.

It's all good right now DBdriven you just got kicked not banned. Let's put this behind us. There's no remorse just carry on and have fun.

Another thing I have had weapons stuck and things go on too so don't worry. White did what he thought was right at the time and no harm done.

mistakes happen... which is why you were NOT banned in the first place. you were only kicked. i know that you're not the type to stat pad, Driven. which is why i did not mention that in my origonal post. I mentioned the incident to the rest of the staff in a sort of "just in case" precautionary senario. i stated the warning in game and that was good enough for me. otherwise you would have been banned on the spot. Hopefully no hard feelings. just doing my job.

No sweat at all guys just wanted to vent alittle I guess, as old as I am I will have forgotten about the whole thing by the morning anyway.
