I have a bug were when I enter the internal area of the titan, all of the surrounding go black so I can't see anything. I am not sure how to remmedy this problem. And if I were to reinstall BF2142 would I lose all of my progress?
If you reinstall bf2142 you will not loose all of your progress. You will loose it however, if you forget your user name and password. As far as the titan going black im not sure how to fix that, though I do believe that is a video issue try and mess around with the video settings and see. Hoped this helped fellow Iowan.
I had this problem to but only during the demo, it was fine during the beta. I'm not really sure what caused this, but it fixed itself for the real game.

Update your video card drivers... I've had this problem before in Counter-Strike Source and that did the trick for me.

5. Graphic corruption on the Titan. Everything is black or dark.

 

-This may be related to the in-game video options causing conflicts on some machines. One of the support guys here had the issue and adjusted the options for Dynamic Shadows and Lighting, Anti-Aliasing, and Texture Filtering to resolve the issue. Drop those options and then adjust them up one by one until you find out which one causes the issue. Let me know if that helps.
