Changing keys in game

i change certain keys in game and everytime i play i have to set them all again....anyone know why or how to fix??

well shucks...it remembers the axis xontrols but not the acc/dec/left/right
I can't rebind my squad chat key for any money in the world. I change it to space and get in game and it is B default everytime.
Have you guys tried making your changes "by hand" directly to the controls.con file? At least EA listened to one big complaint from BF2 and made the reassigning of default keys easier. But there are still a few I use that you can't swap in the options menu. I simply edit the .con file and save. (Be sure to use the one in your "My Documents" folder, not the BF2142 folder).

i use logitech MX 512 and no problems like that have happened to me(yet)
I have found that they actually stay if you don't try to change them while you are connected to a game server. I change everything before I enter a server and they seem to stick.
