Yes, we are in naxx as of about 4 weeks ago or so. I am not in full T2 sadly...

 

I have a mix of T1,T2, and AQ40 gear. I give up my full time raiding spot when 2142 come out because the game took up to much of my time. I am only raiding part time now. We have not downed Cthun yet though either.

 

We clear BWL in about 3 hours. We started BWL and in about 3 weeks were killing Nef. We killed Nef on our second try.

 

If you remember Jasun...he is 6/8 T2 preist getup. ClaymoreCarl is about the same in the priest gear. He is swinging the untammed blade.

 

If you remember Marshal (my son) he has about as much T2 as I do or more now that I am not raiding much.

Did you see that warrior of mine with the sword? No fairy there my friend. We had swords and axes before guns. Granted the magic stuff is a little lord of the rings but it is not as bad as it sounds. I used to say the same thing before I played the game. I used to make fun of everyone who played WoW.

EVERYBODY rolled Alliance on my server. I made the same choice you did at first, Night Elf Hunter. I hated being NE hunter number 894376571 so I made a Dwarf Hunter instead. Eventually got into a Troll Rogue and Undead Warrior. I came to the conclusion after playing both Horde and Alliance that the Horde had to more mature player.

 

But I quit WoW... for good. Never going back. After the Tier 3 gear was made, I came the conclusion they were going to keep raising the equipment cap. Before too long, I figured you'd have to raid for 5000 hours to get that super uber Tier 57 gear they would eventually make. It was at that point I came to the conclusion I would never play a game where gear was the point of the endgame, and quit to go play City of Heroes/Villians and Anarchy Online again... Then BF2142 finally came out and I never looked back to MMORPGS again.

 

Do yourself a favor Nadril... get out of this game... NOW... while you can. And Statecop... put down that damn WOW pipe already! sheesh!

i gave up my l60 Full T2 warrior with part T3... i cant go back, i sold him for a princly sum... i wanted to get the expansion, but for something that is the same every evening at level 60, i dont think its gonna be worth it

I still raid about 3 nights a week on the Gilneas realm(Yes, PvE carebear server ). I've played off and on for almost 2 years. My guild is actually quite good. We clear AQ40 in one night and can clear most of Naxx in 2 nights. We've killed everyone but Gothik and the 4HM.

 

Oh yeah, my first character was a mage named "Amped" but then I took over my brothers NE hunter "Alphaprime" at level 10...yes he was into transformers...I still take grief for this!

 

I'm currently wearing the AQ40 chest, 3 pieces of tier2, and 4 pieces of tier3.

 

I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with the upcoming expansion but there are some really nice features being implemented. The big one being the Arena system. The arena basically allows you to play a few hours a week and still be able to get some of the best gear in the game. It all depends on how you perform.

 

I think the main reason I play WoW is because it is so stable. No problems with server crashing, cheating, bullet register...all the things that turned me away from shooters basically. Although I'd quit WoW in a second if a decent shooter was released.

i see no mockery in either of j.c's posts...just a simple personal preference,

 

i agree with his observations, i don't like this kind of game either, and don't you have to pay for the game then pay again and again to keep playing it????

 

thats ridiculous if i pay for a game thats it i have to pay for the pc, the internet and the game itself, no f'in way am i gonna pay to keep playing that game....i'll stick to my shoot em up games and stay away from the goblins voodoo and fairy dust

Dont worry smash I said the same thing just as you guys have for years. Just dont ever play one of these games to even try it or you will be hooked too. TRUST ME. It is not quite as bad as you think (fairy wise) and there is more content than any game you have even played all put together. You can go for days and never see the same thing. The world make BF2/2142 look VERY VERY small. Think postage stamp floating in the ocean small. The huge world and midevil type of sword/axe killing was my main draw to begin with. I got sick of aimbots, bullets not hitting where they should, wall hacks, and all the problems in FPS. That is what lead me to try the game in the first place. Dont get me wrong...I still like my FPS games but when I get mad about someone I think is cheating or just general BS I play WoW for a bit and feel better. I am switching between the two games right now....it is working well. I am not raiding anymore but still in my guild so I can just take time out and spend time with the family now.
