page cannot be displayed. Apparently its due to the blue-ray laser being in short supply.....
that is insane. Maybe dude should have answered the door when the police repeatedly knocked on it...... Or maybe he shouldnt have shot the other guy to get the ps3's in the first place...... Stupid people. get a computer and be done with it hahaha.
Thats so dumb...i hate police officers they are just a nervous bunch of guys when they are holding a gun

im not a cop but i would love to see you put into an event where youre not sure

what they have or how far they are willing to go. i say good shoot no matter what. when youre not sure shoot , plus with a dog thay could attack isnt that concidered a weapon

the guy only stole a game console...not like they killed any one... but i guess i'd shoot too...

The county sheriff's office here in my town has an abandoned school that they use for training. They go in with paintball pistols and do hostage rescue situations, ect. They had an incident once where a cop shot a man who was down the hall holding a phone. A news crew was covering the incident so the dressed the woman up who was doing the report in full gear and sent her on her way down the hallway. She shot the man with the phone too.

Police are on edge when serving what they deem as a high risk warrant, and will usually not shoot without cause. College students are adults too by the way, capable of very violent acts. I'd be more concerned trying to arrest a college student than most other people.

Not to mention the fact that the guy didnt answer the door.... that only makes the officers more stressed thinking that he is probably barricading himself in. so when they come bursting through the door and someone pops up what do you expect to happen.

it is the same in this town . i got to go against the "tac" team with sam gen and we smoked them. cause only the police have to follow rules .
I don't like the source because it is a blog and this person has twisted the story into their own tale. The man who stole the PS3 assualted and beat someone outside his home. On the internet there are several pictures of this person and his friends posing with numerous automatic assault weapons. Lets try and remember who started this whole thing. If he did not steal a PS3 and physicall assault someone to the point of death then he would not be dead. He made the decision and now he has to deal with the consequences.

I'd be careful with statements like these. There are a few officers on this forum and we respect what they do day in and day out!!!

Wrong thing to say on this forum!!!!! Most of us "Police Officers", are not bad! There are always going to be some bad apples in the bunch, as with any type of group. IE: fireman, policeman, lawyers, judges etc. Most people that say they don't like police officers, say that because they have been caught doing something wrong. Must be that in your case, for you to make a comment like that. I take offense to your comment Grits, because I happen to be a police officer. I love my job, and enjoy helping people. However, it is people that say they can't stand us, that always do something against the law, get caught, and then blame the police when they get arrested!!! Then when you need help, who do you call?????? :D I think your comment is in bad taste on this forum. You have just lost any respect I may have had for you. :) :D I feel insulted and offended by that comment. Your lucky I'm in a giving mood. Nuff said!!!!!

Thank You Killian. Afraid it's too late for that warning. :D

maybe this should be put in the outhouse... Grits, how simple minded of a comment. remember to let the copper know you hate them when you just got your car jacked, or had some other crime committed against you..

Also read the text.. the report came though that he had just allegedly shot another guy.. and was holding something that looked like a gun.. in most cases its your life or his... in this case it was his

well said wolfey. Couldnt agree more. I say the same thing to my friends who bash cops for fining them for drinking in public etc etc. I'm not a police officer but i definatly respect what they have to deal with.

It should be noted that Strickland assaulted a man outside the victims home. Beat him up and stole the play station 3 in question. Also in the course of the investigation the police found pictures posted on an internet of Strickland posing with a shotgun along side two other unnamed men who are holding assault rifles and pistols. So the police show up at the residence of a man who is suspected of assault and battery over a game console AND found posing online with firearms. Personally I would be a little nervous kicking this guys door in too. So before we go off railing on how this is police brutality let's remember to consider the totality of the circumstances.

simple and sweet.. one of the comments below the news article

>>singing<< when you see something strange around your hood! who do you call... GHOST BUSTERS... :D :D
