December 12, 200619 yr well the only instances I ran into for the net_sendpacket error had to do with ipx and firewall problems. possible fixes are: Use the parameter -noipx on your game executable. Example: hl.exe -noipx and also could try manually adding your games ports to your firewall. also I found that if you have a linksys router its firewall could be the culprit (not much you could do if thats the case) also if its not a hassle if your using a personal firewall try turning off for just gameplay but turn it on when going back online hope this helps...
