Last night i was playing and picked up a weapon that i have only found for the second time. I got so excitied when i found it i tried so hard to run to the back lines but of course i couldnt make it. I am unclear what this weapon is and was sure u guys would probably know.

 

The weapon appears to be a very large assault rifle. It is not the two u start with when u begin the game. It is also not the two u can upgrade to in the assault tree. Its very large and bulky looking, some digital graphics on the left hand side as u hold it, the scope is green with u pull up your sights and holds thirty rounds i think.

 

This is also not the sniper carbine.

 

Any ideas?

it sounds like the AR you get if you done the veteran thingy....someone will explain it better.

 

I have said gun, as far as i am aware, it only looks different, the RoF, damage and accuray are the same as the other AR's.

It's the unlock you get for pre-ordering the game from Best Buy. Most people have been complaining about how "huge" the model is.

I have to concur with Fatty, I believe that is the "Best Buy" gun. Snazzy looking, but takes up half the screen and does about the same damage as the Scar. Pretty, but nothing to write home about.

Yeah, its the Best Buy pre order SCAR-11. Same stats as the regular recon rifle, just looks cooler.

I pre-ordered the game from best buy.com and when I recieved the email with the upgraded gun , I unlocked it and when I recieved the game I returned it.

 

So basically I got a free unlock for a gun I rarely use.

Yep the scar-11 never use it though not to impressed by it.

It actually is a smoother firing weapon that the regular scar-11 in my opinion.

Its a good Short to Medium range weapon. It has the least amount of recoil of all the subs so full bursting headshots are quite easy and its very effective when strafing and shooting at the same time up close. But like all subs, you'll loose in a long range firefight.

Not to be a know it all but it is the SCAR-11AR to be exact. I have it and recommend you get the Voss as it blows all the assult guns away.

agreed, I have the scar 11-ar but I didnt like it too much due to the massive size, making it hard to see anything on your right side.
