December 13, 200619 yr I think you need to be more specific. BF2142 doesn't have Cartillery because there are no vehicle drops like in BF2. You may not be posting in the right forum. As far as planting explosives on the FAV's and driving into vehicles to blow up, its a valid tactic. Any good competition team has at least one guy who can do that well. Jeeps/FAV's are always plenty compared to one or two tanks a map.
December 13, 200619 yr I think its lame. I may do it once every 200 rounds and usually to someone like impact.
December 13, 200619 yr I did it more often in bf2, I guess it just worked better for me. I've tried it in this game a few times but it just never seems to work right. Whenever I was a commander in bf2 I would drop a car on a rogue sniper or the enemy commander just for some laughs.

December 13, 200619 yr I think the new jihad jeeping in 2142 is people jumpping out of transport choppers into tanks and walkers. The people who do this aren't just annoying but disrupting gameplay because those are mobile spawns! I can't tell you how many of my deaths are a result of me spawning into a chopper with no pilot.

December 14, 200619 yr I used the Jihad Jeep ONLY when I was MEC. Never as PLA or USMC. It feels like a perfectly valid technique for a MEC soldier, but unconscionable for a Marine or Chinese soldier. ETA: I'm not sure if either side would find it a palatable tactic in this war. Certainly the PAC moreso than the EU, if either.
December 14, 200619 yr I really don't mind it. I dont' do it myself, but if somebody does it to my Tank or Walker, it doesn't upset me. I take it as a compliment that they feel the need to pull a trick like that to get me rather than sneak a pilum shot in my weak spot
