So I just installed the demo.. after problems with the stupid directx9 installation and windows site not being able to verify me..

 

And so I can get to the login screen, but it keeps saying that I cannot connect to the EA master server when trying to login. The 'Trying to connect' window will just stay up until I click cancel.

    Nevermind, got this all fixed up. Not quite sure what the problem was, either I had to restart the comp, or just that my cogeco security service was mysteriously not working at the time and blocked the connection from the game.

    If its hanging at the part where its trying to connect to the servers then its most likely a firewall issue. But you got it fixed.
