i have maxed out the engeneer and have many pins/medals/etc. for it so i am climbing the SpecOp tree next.

 

my questions is this:

-i have few demopacks...what buildings control what commander ability and how many DPacks are needed to destroy it?

Normally when your walking around the enemies base, you can look at your mini-map and it will be somewhat obvious whats actual assets and whats just scenery. It will be a darker shade of grey, I think it takes 2 rdx packs to destroy the assets.

Ahh ok..I get what your saying. I honestly don't remember to be honest. I think I remember the very first time you went into the enemies base when you bought the game the tutorial voice would tell you what asset controlled what when you got near it.

Click on the below link. It's a screenshot of the commander menu. If you look at the bottom of the screen, you'll see the commander abilities with an icon to the left of it. That icon is what you look for on your mini-map. The actual asset looks very close to the icon.

I find sometimes it takes two RDX but then the next time it will take 3. So, if you really need to blow something use 3 to make sure.

I would suggest you to find a server empty,fill the commander position,then destroy your own stuff to know what are the asset are.

 

I only remember the orbital strike,who has 4 columns.

 

When your commander scan,they appear so you can ask for giving the order move on their exact position.

 

Never use it when you play against me of course

The commanders assets are as follows:

 

The asset with the "Pole & Ball" is the UAV.

 

The asset with the "Three Vertical Poles" is the Orbital Bombardment.

 

The last two assets look alike in that they have rotating radar dishes. One has a half sphere dish that sits on a tall box which is taller than you. That is the EMP.

 

The other has a more half moon dish which spins lower to the ground and sits on something that looks like a console. That is the Satellite Scan.

 

As Recon with 5 Det packs, you get to destroy either a UAV or Orbital and then either of the Dish Assets with what you have left.
