Explosive Gallantry Badges

I got my bronze one the other night but now I'm having an impossible time getting my silver one! I have enough total kills already but getting 15 kills with explosives is turning out to be DAMN hard.

Ideas? Also: What counts as explosives? Thanks!

APM's, motion mines or demopacks count for explosives. If your having trouble join a 40+ man conquest server with only 9-12 guys in it. The round will last long enough that you can get it. Also play recon kit :D
My favorite place is to use demo packs when defending the upper consoles on the titan. Drop a demo pack in the hallway, then stand behind the glass wall. When someone runs in, blow it up. You are protected from almost any grenade throw behind that wall, but you can still see them run in. Its great fun to watch them fly!

Play Gibraltar. APM at the start near the ship and you will get it fast. I got 20 no problem many times. I usually get 2 o3 explosive pins per match on that map so that's 20 or 30 kills easy. You will get it no problem.

Or APM on Berlin at the beginning around your first cap.

I managed to get my silver! APM mines on Belgrade. Great game too.

My final kill was actually a tank with 2 people in it :D Damn did that feel good!

Thanks for the advice guys!

I found a server yesterday that has APM's set to do team damage. That is not a good thing to find out the hardway. My first mine took out two guys and I got punished... That will teach me to read the intro server screen more closely.

They still don't usually mention specifically that mines have FF on. How would you tell unless their notes stated it (which I've never seen)?

right side on the load screen half way down ff-off or on....pretty simple

I hate to say it; but not exactly. My understanding is that FF can be turned on and off for individual types of weapons.

For example, FF can be on for guns but off for APMs and such.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I usually play on FF on servers but my APMs still recognize my team's players.

If any of the FF is on (say for guns but not for APMs), than FF is listed as ON.

I was playing Armory titan map today and my APMs are hitting teammates now. Did the server rules get changed?

Yes but just for our titan map. The city maps server is still ff off for apm's. I found this out the hard way my self today when i drove by a silo someone had defended with apm's and got blown out of my car. But it is funny watching the other team come through the titan vents and get blown up by their own team.
