-I continue to be annoied by my mic. It works in vent, windows sound recorder, other games, but not in BF...i hit 'V' and the speaker comes up, but noone can hear me. I have changed the in/outbound sound (mute is off), still nothing...even the BF mic program wont pick up me talking (regaurdless of slider position.

Shouldn't have any effect on your account, just remember you username and password.

I have the same problem, I may try that also. Thought I was the only one.

a re-install wont affect anything on your account, like sharp said just remember your username and pw. The only thing you will need to re-adjust after an install is your options(video setting, controls) if you changed anything.

-for any others out there turn on mic boost(gain) in options and, incase it matters, switch from T1 to cable.

I have had it so my voice icon doesn't come up and the mic doesn't work and then all of a sudden it works. The next game it doesn't work and so on. I gave up...if it works it works if not oh well.

i think it depends on the mic ive had alot of problem with usb head phone then i swithed to head phone jack head set and it works fine
