Hey guys! I was thinking about what they are missing in terms of badges, pins, ribbons, and such. Here's what I think are missing:

 

Conquest Resurrection Badge

 

Since tickets in conquest are measured in deaths, rezzing someone is very important. However, the only award is a pin. You need a badge just like the medic badge but for rezzing people.

 

Medic Excellence Medal

 

Just a general medal that you get after a certain number of heals and rezzes. Maybe 100h with the medic hub too.

 

Stealth Badge

 

Somehow award recon people who use the invisibility shield in a good manner....not sure how you could measure it, but I cap so many flags and silos by sneaking past people. I think I should be awarded for it!

 

Sniper Excellence Badge

 

Count kills with a sniper rifle / time as recon.

 

And lasty.....FIXED HEALS AND REPAIRS. Make heals and repairs more like ammo giving....if you do anything with either, you get a point. It takes too damn long to get healing and repair points. Sometimes I'll repair a tank by 75% and STILL not get a repair point! I can't get anywhere on that badge! Sucks....

 

So what do you think should be added?

Ahhhh....I see it now. That's excellent news, but it means my medic silver badge isn't as hard to get as it once was At least the gold will be easier!

And PS: How funny is the APM FF always off thing? Remember when we tried that? What a disaster.....

I didn't have a problem getting either of those. I got my medic badge in conquest by not fighting and just following people around with my hub in hand. If I came across a group "holed" down at a corner, I'd toss them a hub and keep going. Sometimes I'd toss a hub down and hold one in my hands for faster healing if several of them were hurt.

 

As for repair, I did it on a titan match. Just have the Commander move the titan into a good support position. If he places it right, it'll be in a key area so the guns will be getting nailed because they're so freaking effective. Just repair the crap out of them. I managed to get my bronze and silver in the same round because of this. I happened to be commander because I was working on my titan comm silver at the time. I've become a pretty decent commander now. Heh.

Let me know if we need a seperate thread on the best ways to get certain badges etc.

 

I notice that many of our members are slow to climb through the ranks. Getting Badges speeds this up. Do not be afraid to let everyone know what badges you need so we can help you get them.

 

While I'm not for stat padding of course many of these badges can be earned more easily with us working together.

 

Also keep in mind that its good to work on multiple badges and ribbons at the same time.

 

Example: If you need the Explosive Galantry Badges and also need Recon badges, then you should play recon and use C4 at the same time. If you need Engineer Badges as well as Armor/Repair Badges, then be a tank driver etc..
