February 27, 200719 yr sometime around 630 this morning my hard drive decided it wanted to make a clank sound then this nice grinding sound like have you ever heard really bad car brakes grinding, well that was coming from my hard drive this morning... This is the 2nd time I've had to replace my hard drive :thumbsup: but anyway see you all when I get everything loaded up I'm doing microsoft updates at the moment :cool:

February 27, 200719 yr Author Still covered by warrenty so I got a 120GB WesternDigital since they didnt carry the 80GB I had :thumbsup: though I had to pay 18 bucks but figured the extra space was worth it

February 27, 200719 yr My MAXTOR is runing for 3 years and is good as new and i heard that SEAGATE is better than MAXTOR.Hope i help! :thumbsup:

February 27, 200719 yr Aww, thats too bad Eskimo. I've owned mostly Western Digital Hd and never had a problem with them. Now I bought a 160 gb Samsung and had to return that in 4 mos. Guess you never know. Good luck and hurry back.
