I am wondering, will you buy the game ?

 

As a old fan of the series, i definitely will. I downloaded and played the demo so far. Its abolutely great.

yeah that demo was alot of fun, i pre-ordered it from ea-link.

The reviews better shine like a star for me to buy that game. The series has gone down hill and C&C Generals wasn't bad, but wasn't good. Its gonna have to knock some socks off for me to buy it.

C&C started the war games online with out it we would not be playing bf2142 so yes I will be buying it the day it comes out

yeah, i d/l the demo too and it played it. nice look to it but overall i was so-so about it. gonna see what everyone else thinks about it once the game comes out before i jump in. i liked the first couple in the series.

Ever since WH:40K Dawn of War, I've had my itch scratched. That is, the itch of wanting SQUADS trained and the like instead of INDIVIDUAL soldiers. I absolutely love the C&C series, both Red Alert and otherwise. However, I don't see myself buying anymore C&C games if they don't incorperate this fine addition to the RTS genre. I'm afraid my standards have been raised. That said, I haven't tried the demo yet.

-negative, played the demo...it was pretty(you can even zoom in SUPER close to see how pretty the units are...:rolleyes:nice feature, same with the overused heat effects)...nothing more

 

 

-They do have..."squads", but it does not work like Dow...it is one unit and the guys left are just a % of the units HP...no actual individuality.

 

-What is up with the "make a building-get a' generals power'"? That was bad enough in generals...but, now they are useless...hmmm, clutter much?

 

-And...aliens?!?...way to be unoriginal...wooOOo, third faction...how disappointing...

I haven't played since Yuri's Revenge but I will get this new one.

I had a problem with the demo and if thats any indicator how the game will play then I think I'll skip it

I played and liked the demo. Defiantly getting it.

The demo was interesting enough for me to put forth a future purchase.

Im undecided about it right now. I have been wanting a good RTS game lately but I just don't know if I want it or not.

I played it again and decided to just screw around instead of actually trying. Eventually I had the Ion Cannon and 2 bombers, 2 fighter/bombers and all of the ability things. So I dropped the ion cannon on the enemy base and took out about half of it. I sent in my planes simultaneously and weakened their defenses, and had vehicles, infantry, and shock troops dropped in at the same time. It was truly satisfying. It gives that nice power of shock and awe.

I am wondering, will you buy the game ?

deffo gonna be considering getting this game.. i had at some point every menu.. still have tiberian sun, and generals floating around with all the expansions.

 

i lost RA1 though and was considering getting that huge pack of ALL the C&C they do to have a little nostalga

Hey shotty you know you can get all of the previous C&C games on 1 DVD for like $30?

 

I walked past that deal the other day at Wal-Mart and just stared for a minute.

yeah its $40 actually, least it was in EB in Danbury mall end of jan..

meh either way... 11(?) good games for $30-40 is a good deal to me

I don't know that I would commit to buying the game just yet, as the last few have been lacking what CC was. I guess I will get the demo and check it out as from what I have read here and at other sites it seems cool...get back to ya on this!

I personally can't wait for it, I just read an in depth review on it in PC Gamer and they gave it a 90%, editors choice, can't wait to play with ya guys and wreak some havoc :thumbsup:

Got the game and love it. Brings back the good'ol days of the original C&C but with the multi-build options general brought in

yeah the game is alot of fun, the endings suck though!

 

after you play both sides you get to play the scrin for 4 missions and it gives a hint of a continuation coming along shortly.

I'll definitely buy it eventually bc I love the C&C games, but I wasn't impressed by the demo. SupCom has sooo much more depth to it.

-NO SHOTTY, NOOOOO!!! TLD (the last decade) is a horrible compilation of the games, it was done by another company and most of the online stuff will not work. Go on eBay and get them there! I have all of the old ones and TLD, so I know how bad it is...just a heads up buddy:thumbsup:
