I loved 300. It was possibly the greatest action movie I have ever seen. I was in line for the first showing on Friday and I'm glad I was there. I don't have to wait to see the awesomeness that is this movie. I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen it yet.

:D see this is what happens when you have a wife. J/K. :D :D

Yea, the moved definately kicked ass!

As far as the reviews go.....People who actually do that stuff for a living are retarded. Seriously what do they know about that stuff. I don't see them in movies.

That and it seems like when ever I or a whole bunch of people like a movie. 99% of the "reviewers" always give it a horrible rating of which it doesn't deserver. Like the first spiderman for example. I think it got like a "c-" to a

"B-" or something. When in fact it pretty much destroyed the box office.

Yeah...after the movie I actually read a little review for it in a local news paper. They gave it 2 1/2 stars out of a 4. I think most of the "reviewers" grossly under judge great movies. Although IGN did give it a full 5 out of 5 stars and 10 out of 10 rating. At least they know what a good movie is lol.
It was pretty amazing. Unfortunately, I thought the ending was rushed. The final battle where....ahh...someone died.....lasted like 2 minutes! Really a big letdown :D

Wow, My Fiance and me did the exact same thing. Only they ran out of tickets, so we rented the Grudge 2, and stayed in as well.

roger that!
This is a movie that I have been dying to see for some time now...hope to see it soon.

I saw it the other day; the movie is incredible. Absolutely amazing. Those critics don't know what they're talking about. Most of them basically say that the movie was messed with too much visually; that if they would have left the scenery unaltered instead of enhancing them with CG, it would have been one of the best war movies of all time. Well, I disagree. It IS one of the best war movies of all time. The scenery was visually stunning. The cinematography techniques wouldn't have been as effective against the contrasting background.

Some others claimed it was too graphic. Heh, you went to see a movie with men killing each other with swords and spears. What part of that isn't violent? And movies like the Saw series are MUCH more graphic than 300 is by far.

The critics are wrong. Go see it.

Hey you weren't suppose to say what happened, not everyone got to see it yet :) Like me, I have to wait until Tuesday night which is one of my days off. :D I can't wait :D

Heh, whatever you do, don't study Western Civilizations before the movie then. God forbid the battle of Thermopylae would be well known even if it wasn't in movie form :D

^That's a joke by the way! Please don't kill me and take my dog tags :)

Oh I know the history :D I just don't want to know how the movie interprets the event. :)

I know you're joking but still the paddle for you :D
