Posted March 23, 200718 yr I am so freakin' irritated with UPS right now...for two days they have claimed to have attempted delivery of my Newegg order...for two days I have been less than 10 feet from the door they would have to knock on. No knock...no notice...no nothing...so for two days I have been explaining this to them. Their reply is the driver said he made an attempt...to have me only reiterate the above and point out the primary failure, besides not knocking or anything, is that there is no notice. Gotta love it!
March 23, 200718 yr luckily i live in an apartment complex that has a useful main office. the last three items i've received from them have been sent there. two times i got a notice (odd thing was that i was at home when they put the notice there and got no knock). when my happy cola came i didn't get a notice at my door, or a knock for that matter... only reason i knew that they had been delivered was because i checked online for that status and it said delievered. hoping fed-ex does a better job when they bring my comp case
March 23, 200718 yr Hey guy they may not be at the right address, like they did with mine in time. I finally had them hold it at the shipping facility for me to pick up.
March 23, 200718 yr Author Well...FINALLY I got a straight answer...apparently it has been a new driver for the last two days...and rather than call in to the hub to find out the security gate code...he was just driving on by. Anyhow...now they are having him loop around and re-deliver to this location. When I lived in Tennessee...my apartments would receive the package for me...regardless if I was home or not...which was nice. I never appreciated that process much until lately. Since I have been in Texas it has been a nightmare...but I will be back home in Tennessee soon and getting my packages again.
March 24, 200718 yr They are two streets away from me and can't find the address when i wanna buy a watch from net!
March 24, 200718 yr I live on a street that has a N and S part and do you think they ever try my N end first or ever. NOoOOOOOoOooO. Then they just go back to the warehouse and say my house isn't there. LOL noobs.

It must be in a different dimension.. yeah thats it, its not that Im an idiot and can't read."
March 24, 200718 yr USPS ftw hahahahahahaha... yea right the last thing i received through them the box had big hole and was taped up ...
March 24, 200718 yr Author Regarding the packages having holes...I think all the carriers have some record of totally destroying packages. Last time I was in a UPS hub they had a 21" CRT monitor...that was run over by a truck! How do you not notice you are running over something like that!? As far as my story goes...well the driver never made it...and I got a call from the Supervisor saying that they will have it out on Monday. I did keep dude on the phone with some ranting about procedures and such.
March 27, 200718 yr Author Just an update...turns out that UPS lost my freakin' package...so as of yesterday Newegg recalled the package (from UPS oblivion) and will be re-sending my order FedEx Next Day, without charging shipping costs.
March 27, 200718 yr OMG don't even get me going on UPS!!! I got on the horn with them and ranted and raved. They thought they lost my package too, but they found it real fast when i said i was coming down to their facility to file a formal complaint. Make sure you have Newegg guarantee next day delivery. Good luck.
March 27, 200718 yr Author Actually...the way I found it was missing was by having someone go down to the local hub...this after two days of no delivery (no knocks and no notices). The bad part for them in my case is that I am actually bed ridden at the moment...so I was here each day with family, an aid or a nurse throughout the day. I have done my complaining to UPS via the 800 number, their website, and the BBB. I don't think I would have gotten so upset about the whole UPS side of this deal if there were any way that I might have possibly missed them...but alas that is not the case. Anyway...looking forward to adding components and such when it does come in and thanks for the encouragement.
