It isn't. After a month the digital ports went out (DVI and HDMI). I didn't have any problems up until then though. Working in analog I haven't had any troubles with it except every once and a while the buttons on the side quit working. I just unplug the power and plug it back in. I believe I just got a bad one; I've read nothing but good things about this monitor and once I RMA it, I'm sure I'll use it for a long time.

 

If I were you though, if you're looking to spend this kind of money, I'd get the Samsung 226BW. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001096&CMP=OTC-RSS

 

Faster response time, higher contrast ratio (with dynamic contrast enabled), same size, almost the same price, and a better buy in my opinion. :)
