May 3, 200718 yr anyone using one the Thermaltake Tide Water (http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Liquid/All-In-One/cl-w0052/cl-w0052.asp#specification) to cool their vid card? My computer room is above the garage so it tends to get hot during the summer and cool during the winter. I thought I'd add liquid cooling to my system, specifically the vid card. I think my CPU is ok for now. Know if it will work w/ the 8800GTX? I didnt see anything that specifies that.
May 4, 200718 yr Author umm probably will, but why? the 8800 already has a water cooler lol mine doesnt. I didnt want to pay an extra $300 for that.
May 4, 200718 yr on my 7800 i pulled off the plastic fan guard thing and screwed the oem AMD fan right into the heatsink dropped temps a ton i want to say from aroudn 74 down to mid 50's free and very good if you want to do water cooling i would suggest doing it right cool cpu and gpus and do a custom setup (this is not as hard as it sounds) it would be cheaper and very very good
