Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Today in my email I recieved 122 emails with "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" as the header. All the admins and Senior Council recieves these emails everyday. The messages were because you have subscribed to recieve email responses to threads you are watching. Or you have the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" set to subscribe. To make sure your not subscribed to auto recieve emails goto usercp/edit options/Default Thread Subscription Mode/drop down menu/do not subscribe. Or in your profile make sure it has the correct address to the email account that you wish to recieve emails at so the auto responder can find you. I'm not entirely sure if there is actually a problem with the responder or if these emails aren't getting to you for some other reason. Here is the complete list of names from todays "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" list:

Just so you know I did go through all of them this time One of the above listed had 33 "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" messages teehee :D but anyway the email responder cannot find you folk for some reason or another if you need help on how to turn off the thread subscription or how to change your email for your profile just post in this thread and some one will be glad to help. I hope this helps!

I believe it's problem with the server and their mail hosts, not their individual problems.

There was also a message that verdugo27@aol.com could not be found at all but it wasn't a thread subscribed response so I didn't include it in the above list
