May 17, 200718 yr Author well we(Impact, Ding, myself and two other squad members) were chasing a sqaud that was on its way to EU. Sensing their demise the sqaud leader threw a beacon but it landing outside the wall. Two of the squad members decided to use it regaurdless, but "placed" their pods inside on the wall.

May 17, 200718 yr They have normal variation but u could see them zigzaging across the sky moving closer towards EU base. Where the pods land its usually 2-3 ft away from the beacon. They were able to clear the wall and were landing anywhere from 10-20 ft away from the beacon one actually made it over to the EMP dish. Sometimes its difficult to see but impact caught it first and the rest of us were there to witness them do it. I know this can be a highly debated topic so i will shut up now:p:D

They said it's up to the individual server owners to decide. but isnt it against EA's "Terms and Agreements" thing that a server owner cannot control how the people in the server are playing. Isn't that why knife servers are forbidden?

Nope, two seperate things there. Pistol/Knife only servers break rule of "stat padding" and cheating the ranking system.. Servers are allowed to have their own "house rules" such as no base camping/spawn camping, language filters, etc.. I have not tried this one yet but I have a feeling that the answers are "no" and "yes" respectively. Interesting bit of information - I have noticed that alot of people like playing Berlin on 64 players. I have tried it and found it great fun. I spoke with the level designer and he was horrified at first since the map was not intended to be played with that many. When he saw that it was popular and a lot of fun he became happy and said (loosely) "well if its fun then great.......didnt think they would like that". So - we have found we need to keep an open mind because you guys will do things we dont expect and a lot of time its a lot of fun. http://www.totalbf2142.com/images/smilies/smile.gif The main thing is fun. If you guys find something going on in your server that you and your friends do not find fun then use your powers to create the environment you want. But we dont want to make official policy or hard code settings when we dont have to as it limits the variety open to you guys as players.
