June 9, 200718 yr Hey I thought I'd post something since I haven't been on for a while and I just finished this. Let me know what ya think. Note: I don't know how to make it full size in the text section so... /monthly_06_2011/post-1515-130810196124_thumb.jpg
June 9, 200718 yr Very nice, now that you ask maybe the outlines a little more shaded, not an expert idea though
June 9, 200718 yr If you want me to be totally honest which I'm sure you do......... It doesn't look like you spray painted it on, it looks like you went into photoshop and took an armory logo and put it on a brick wall. Thats basically all it looks likes. What I'm trying to say, is that it needs to be more realistic :D
June 9, 200718 yr Dont listen to Norcal, lol anyway it looks great better than anything Id be able to do:D
June 9, 200718 yr looks good to me but yeah maybe a little more cohesion between the brick and the logo! but great job like Weihe said better than anything i could turn out!
June 9, 200718 yr Thanks. Anything you see that I can improve? Just grunge up the armory logo a bit. The brick wall it's on is very dilapidated; therefore, the logo should catch some of that wear-and-tear too. The middle of the logo and some of the edges (on the right and on the bottom, just at a quick glance) are just too pristine to be believable.
June 11, 200718 yr It looks really good. I don't know if you are using photoshop or have done this already, but maybe try changing the layer style to Multiply, or messing with those. They might make you brick pattern pop through.
June 11, 200718 yr Dont listen to Norcal, lol anyway it looks great better than anything Id be able to do:D I wasn't saying that it was bad, it was actually really good. I was just saying the logo needed to be warn out like the wall. I maybe said in some harsh words, but thats what the "" at the end was for. It was some constructive criticism. Its actually better then anything I could do. Sorry if I offended you JFM. If you need help, just ask.
