Half-Life 2 Delayed!!!!!

Featured Replies

-UnwantedHero]it appears that HL2 is NOT delayed

in a recent interview with one Lombardi from Valve...

Q.Vossey: Can you assure us of a September 30th release of Half-Life 2?

A.Lombardi: Yes. No change in the release date is planned. The September 30th date is worldwide. In France as well as England.

this rumor has been going on for weeks, the first time I saw it was on gamespy, and it just spread from there...

Gabe Newell HIMSELF has confirmed that HL2 is not delayed

DAMN!Half-Life 2 Delay Officially 100% Confirmed 202 Comments 9/23/2003 21:12 PST | Half-Life 2 | by Fragmaster Here's the bad news from Valve's Doug Lombardi: The previously announced September 30th release date for Half-Life 2 is being pushed back. We are currently targeting a holiday release, but do not have a specific "in-store" date to share at this time. We will release that information as soon as we have confirmed a new date. We're very glad all this release date nonsense is over with and think Valve should have confirmed this earlier
well i never seen EB be wrong, in the fact that they know when everything is being released, i found out back in late august that it got pushed to november or December i can remember exactically, all i remmeber is getting really angry at the thought of it getting pushed yet again!!i dont care about what is going around, i never really trusted Planet Half-Life for much on release dates due to the fact that they are pulling jokes and what not.I am going to EB somethime this weekend and will get an update on the situation, some release dates have been know to jump back to the origonal date, due to a cancelation on an update/change to the game/ or addition.Just have faith, it will come soon enough...Until then there is one question that is hurting my head: Why would they push HL2 away from the release date when Halo PC would come out a day after. IF valve is smart the Delay will be also be a joke, because if HL2 comes out first then it will be, Screw Halo, with a mark on your arm labeled, please insert more HL2 heroine here, But if Halo comes out first, well lets just say, HL2 will have to wait to grace the land of Pimped-Out-Ho-Land (My Company name for my Comp)So the final question is: Who will win the fight; A long awaited new form of Crack or an ampted up higher-pulse-rate endusing new releaseYou decide...(i am not a drug addict unless you concider the addictive splender of these games drugs)
Halo had already gone gold and is going to be released Sept 30th (world wide I believe)I'm going to get it ;)And I believe Hl2 will be released in November...Anyway, if it deliver's the 'Second Coming' (AKA greatest gaming experiance ever) then I'd wait another year if I have to.Halo multiplayer, here I come!
