Yeah it's simple enough.

I enjoy watching Real Madrid and FC. Barcelona, sometimes Man.U.(they will be playing a match against some chinese team somewhere in july, here in Macau, ManU that is). I use to play soccer professionaly in my young years, played in the first league in Romania.

baseball is my favorite sport, but i picked football because the environment and late game comebacks are alot more entertaining

American Football 100% absolutely, positively my favorite.

Soccer is a pretty distant 2nd

Hockey is an even more distant 3rd

Basketball a very distant 4th

Baseball the farthest at 5th

Hockey = fastest, hardest hitting, great amount of skill and I played it too so I am partial.

fo' sho'. Hockey is one adrenaline packed game

why is formula 1 not on there

go team ferrari

no rugby or lacrosse?

F1 is not a sport...

Boo team Ferrari, go Renault!!

Rugby and lacrosse are not very popular in the US(which is where a lot of the forum members are from). I threw in soccer for the European guys, even though I don't consider it a "sport".

theres a good saying

the only sports are auto racing and rock climbing

the rest are just games

renault has no hope for a championship or even any good races

they pissed that away when they didnt resign alonso

Upon seeing this I raised an eyebrow because of the "hardest hitting" comment there Klink. So I hopped on over to Youtube to check out some of the hardest hockey hits. They were fun. It is definately fast paced. I don't know if the hits are necessarily harder than football hits, though. They look worse because they are on skates and don't have as much traction to hold them down onto the ice. I guess that they are about the same. I never see good hits when I watch hockey, though. They aren't as common as in football. In football there are 22 guys having a good chance of getting ROCKED on every play, because at least 15 of those guys are going to make contact on any given play. There are probably about 120 plays per game. So at least 15 guys getting hit on 120 plays, you gotta figure that at least one of those is going to be a big hit.

and yes, I am bored.

oh and Travis, even though I am not a huge soccer fan, to leave it off of the choices would be a crime, considering it is the most popular sport worldwide.

Baseball and football have to be the most interesting to watch. Basketball probably comes in third with hockey trailing in last, very boring to watch if you ask me. Nothing happens.

You think soccer is more exciting than hockey?

lols

Where in my post did I say soccer?

Well I was referring to the poll choices, and you said hockey came in last.

btw, here's a nice hockey vid to show that Hockey is even tougher than american football.

All sport have boring "spots" during play. Baseball has it in between pitches, Soccer's is when they traverse the field, basketball when this casually dribble the ball and casually play(99% of the time), Football just has long delays period! But if you were to watch the sports from an unbiased potistion, I wouldn't doubt you would say hockey was the most exciting.

why is toughness what makes it the best sport to watch

no hockey player ever hit another with 180g's of force

however david purley did crash an f1 car from 108 to 0 in .5meters

and survived

id say hes way tougher than an hokey player

lol, why are you so persistant to "defend" F1's status as a sport? You live in the US, you should be used to "real" auto racing being ignored.

If you had the choice and HAD to stand in for either hockey or football ( assuming you can skate) which do you think you would choose. I would choose football because I could be the wide out and just run a pattern and never get touched if the ball didn't come my way but try to skate one length of the ice with the puck and see if some dude doesn't knock you into next week.

Toughness is not the main thing but considering driving isn't a sport it is a passtime or entertainment it doesn't matter anyway.

did you see the "Reggie Bush just got JACKED up" video on youtube, that shows that football is tough, its just more of a slower-paced tough than hockey.

fav team sports to watch are football (Dallas Cowboys) and college basketball (Memphis Tigers)

and the dictionary agrees

1. an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc.
