Switching Sides

Featured Replies

Maybe I am just stupid but I wish it would leave you on one side for a while. I find myself forgetting which side I am on during a game and sometimes end up killing a teammate. In real life you wouldn't switch sides after each mission. If it would let me stay on the Pac or EU side for several games before changing it maybe I would be better. (Hope springs eternal.)

Even better would be a faint red or blue glow around the player at all times. If mines and such can tell enemy from friends then I don't see why my hud couldn't place colors on the enemy and friends. :D

if your in a squad it wont change you team during a game

but you have to switch sides so you can play each side of the map

this keeps people from stacking the obviusly better side which there generally is one

Oh I guess you are right about that. How about a five map rotation where you play as PAC and then the same five maps where you play as EU?
Unfortunately it's not possible to due that. The way it is now, everyone gets to play each map as both sides which we thought was fair.
I don't have any valuable input, but I can commiserate with you. I was switched mid match after a death and blindly clicked through the spawn point selection and re-entered the match. My first thought was holy sh*t we're being overrun. I quickly shot the nearest "enemy", got the teammate damage warning and promptly defibed him. I've been on the receiving end of that same scenario as well.
yes it is a bit annoying, and it requires a lot more concentration than before. Overall definitely not fun when you switch side mid game, you can end up on the losing side and losing points as well isn't it ?

Yeah, it is a pain to get switched mid-match. It has happened to me before and I have shot and killed teammates by accident, but always proceeded to revive them ASAP. I haven't been switched in a while because I'm almost always in a squad of my own or someone elses.

Also, on the matter of switching sides between rounds, it makes it so everyone can enjoy the pros and cons of each team. Playing one round on each side keeps the crowd happy because we can play 2 rounds on one map then switch to the next easily.

How about the idea of each play glowing red or blue depending on what side they are on?

sure just drink some gatorade with lots of sugar and you'll see the glow. :)

too much like hacking

it would be way easier if the enemies were easily identifiable

but that would kill the gameplay

I think the enemies are pretty cleary identifiable in this game, I've never accidently shot my own teammate mistaking them for an enemy.
