June 27, 200718 yr i got 2 unlock points, and i don't know what to use them on. i alrealy got the recon unlock tree with the lambert carbine. and i got the scope x4 but should i get the zeller advanced sniper rifle?
June 27, 200718 yr Author i don't have much exprience with it, i mean i heard the default rifles are better.
June 28, 200718 yr Zeller -more damage ---Head: 1 shot ---Heavy armor body (2 shots)...almost 90% dead on first shot ---Light armor body (1 shot) -Can destry Motis, EMP mines, RDX, APMs, etc. -HORRIBLE SCOPE (red tint, small) -3 shots per mag...with more mags ...great for fantastic snipers/camping snipers (with SDecoy:thumbsup:) Default -More rounds per clip -'Wide screen' scope (and it is clear) -only good vs. infantry -Better used if you get more body shots -Better for squad marksmen (ie. mobile sniper) They serve two different purposes...one is not 'better' that the other.
June 28, 200718 yr We had this conversation awhile back freefall... We came to a good conclusion.
June 28, 200718 yr Author so let me get this straight, zeller is good for camping and default is for mobile?
June 28, 200718 yr so let me get this straight, zeller is good for camping and default is for mobile? -More or less... -If you are a sniping fiend the zeller can be good mobile, the utility of it helps if used correctly. On the other hand, the park can be handy for camping, if you are not so good at sniping and getting a lot of body shots and misses.
June 28, 200718 yr I would use the Park 52 or Moretti (sp.) rifles even if I was camping or not. cons to Zeller- 1)Red scope and very hard to see EU guys because they have a lot of orange on them. 2)Very low on shots ( 3 x ? amount of clips ) 3)People say that because it can shoot mines and stuff its a good rifle, but since when was the last time you were able to see an apm mine in front of you and wished you had a zeller so you can blow it up? Never, because people who drop apm mines, rdx etc. are sneaky about it. They put it out of your sight (around corners, tops of ladders, behind boxes etc.) so the fact that its a powerful gun, doesn't mean much to me. Better to just get good with the default rifles and get used to always aiming for the head so you don't need a powerful gun. cons to default rifles- I can't think of any
June 28, 200718 yr cons to Zeller- 1)Red scope and very hard to see EU guys because they have a lot of orange on them. http://binky.blog.ocn.ne.jp/binky/images/00304.jpg I always see this complaint and I don't get it, its not like the tint makes them that much harder to see, they're human shaped orange tinted figures, they're not hard to miss, whether they have orange shoulder pads or not. .... and yes I know these are PAC but it was the only scoped shot I could find. .... and the zeller sucks, but not because of the scope.
June 28, 200718 yr personally, i use the park 52 or moretti. i like the larger clip, also i find that with 2142, i'm not taking as many really long range shots. the zeller is more of a long range sniper rifle, while the defaults are more of a moblie rifle, like freefall said. the ONLY 2 cons to the defaults are that they cannot detonate explosives (motis, emps, rdx, etc) and that the rounds are not as powerful for armored foes.... it makes up for it with a MUCH larger clip, faster reload, and above all NO RED SCOPE (i dont find it annoying, just hard to see sometimes). also to counter the 2 "cons" to the defaults.... 1. aim for the head and 2 either avoid explosives or have an engi with ya. \o/ defaults ftw \o/
June 28, 200718 yr The default one is the way to go. More rounds per clip = Less reloading. It may do less damage, but if you continue to snipe you will learn how to aim at the head. Which is one shot kill, so it doesn't matter how damage you actually do.
