Thanks Boja that clears it up.

You're gonna have to clear that one up for me.

Nice double post, and the same one twice. Awesome.

It doesn't look friendly where there's one there's many. Unless he/she just showed up for you to take a picture of it. Or its laughing at you because it knows your afraid. Its ok i hate spiders but i deal with the black widows and brown recluses out here.
It looks like an orb-weaving spider (family Araneidae); don't worry they are harmless to humans. So you'll be ok Klink. :D

Didn't post the pics as they are graphic. This is supposedly a spider bite. But it is not surely known.

I read other places on the internet that dispute that this is actually a spider bite. But it is fun to wonder.

Well..I know we have lots of brown recluse spiders in here in Kansas. This was shown to us at McConnell AFB as a "why you dont wait 7 days to get treated". I dont know WHY the guy let it get so bad, but I know I've seen a brown reclude bite get to the 3rd picture there where it was swollen and a noticable hole on someones shoulder. They were sent to the ER and they had to cut out a 1" area around the bite and use a wound vac to get out the rest of the poison. It sure didnt look pretty.
Yup those brown recluses have that flesh eating venom. So if u do get bit by one seek medical attention immediately:eek:
brown recluse huh thats odd he must have waited a while before going to get it checked out. They get really bad but not if you seek medical attention in the first couple hours. besides in Afghanistan we see sand vipers and Krait snakes. I freakin hate snakes LOL. At least with Kraits you already know you are going to die when you are bit so you dont have to waste time wondering.....well I am kidding a little but not much!
