Posted July 3, 200718 yr What are some good action games? I've been playing Brain Age. I have Bomber Man, and Mariocart DS, and Tony Hawk something or other. What games do you play? Any good ones I should look into? Thanks bunches.
July 3, 200718 yr I have a DS Lite. I don't play it that much though. I have Animal Crossing: Wild World and Pokemon: Diamond version. As far as action games I'd say get any of the Castlevania games for the DS. Another good action game thats coming out is Contra 4.
July 3, 200718 yr  -Custom Robo Arena is FUN. It is RPGish but the battles are short and fast, VERY tactical (button mashing can work, but not well). VERY LONG GAME!!! -PokeMon!!! WEWT!!!. This little gem is similar to crack. It seems like it would better suit the little kiddies, but this game has some major statistics and math going on behind the scenes. It can be alot of fun, but is not got for people that do not get into games with depth. -Metroid is pretty good. Run and gun with a few 'puzzles' here and there. -I am sure there are more...I can add them later.

He owns just about every version, has a complete PokeDex (without cheating), and is now working on an online battling team. Since Pokemon Battle Revolution came out on the Wii he's been fine-tuning his Pokemon's stats with massive amounts of precision for online battling. I'm not that huge into Pokemon, but it's still a fun game.
July 3, 200718 yr Lunar Knights is a good action game, its made from the MSG people. That and I have been playing Sim City DS, it plays like SM2000.
July 3, 200718 yr Author That and I have been playing Sim City DS, it plays like SM2000. Oooh, I loved Sim City years ago. I didn't know it had a DS variant. I will definetly be picking up the next time I'm in town. Thanks.
July 3, 200718 yr My wife has one, not sure what games they have though, Well mario 64 for the ds seems pretty good though:D
July 10, 200718 yr i got mine a month ago BUY THE M3 ADAPTER!!! i play the castlevanias, megaman zx, etrian oddysy is taking alot of my time recently
July 11, 200718 yr My brother plays Super Mario 64, Brain something, MarioKart, Super Mario Bros, and some other games
July 11, 200718 yr i got one as well along with the original. i'll give ya the list of games i have (try to keep the gems and get rid of the dirt, if ya catch my drift) -Mario Kart DS (pretty good online racing....beware the snakers) -Diddy Kong Racing DS (very good online modes, racing/battle/tournament, just a bit slower paced than mario kart) -Metroid Prime: Hunters (my current experience: best hand-held fps I've ever played on either ds or psp.....strictly amazing still. online is tough, but once you get your fav. character's style down, you can dominate like no other, be sure to give me your friend code if you get it! ) -Diagasso! Band Brothers: Import of a pretty fun music game where its somewhat like ddr or beatmania in the sense that you hit corresponding buttons or button-combinations to create a certain sound of an instrument you choose within the song you choose from a list (BIG list btw). very fun game, especially since you can make your own songs, have unlimited amount of ppl for multiplayer (if they have their own carts) or have up to 4 or 8 players using 1 cart (game-share option). -Cooking Mama: what can i say.....i like to cook and cooking mama makes what i enjoy even better. its basically mini-games about making food-items, but you can also make your own combinations of food(s) and the recipes are almost realistically true (for alot of them) to where you can almost make it off what they tell ya to do -Elite Beat Agents: get it. great music-rythem game totally different from ddr/beatmania/etc... with tons of replay value and coop/versus play. -Final Fantasy 3: only final fantasy game to never see an American release (though you could have played a translated copy of the NES rom). Whats even better is its all re-made in ff7-like 3d, and because of it's success so far, they're working on making ff4 in the same style! 'online' if you can call it that, sucks to say the least (you can message ppl). -Trauma Center: Very fun game definatly tests your skill under pressure, which makes for a very rewarding yet dramatic game experience. -Animal Crossing: Its pretty good, but if you stop playing for awhile and come back, you have lotsa work to do to repair your town fun none-of-the-less though, especially with visiting friend's towns online too. -StarFox DS: i loved the n64 starfox (still my fav.) and if you enjoyed the all-range-mode missions from it, you'll like this one. the only downside is the strategy part in it can be annoying, but the online is alotta fun! -Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: I'll admit, I did feel dorky buying it, but the old-school dungeon crawling with party members that you can have break off from your group and battle seperatly made me love the game. Give it a try if you like those old school dungeon crawler games. -Pokemon Diamond/Pearl: Get it. Get it. Get it. I stopped getting the pokemon games after silver/gold were released, so i never did venture into the gba ones, but this one is worth it, especially with online battles/trading, customizations, and just the sheer amount of actual GAME crammed into it. You will NOT be sorry. Also to let ya feel better, I've seen way more adults play this game than kids -Advanced Wars D.S: pretty good game if you like strategy games. was one of the first games i bought and i'm still pretty happy with it (though online would have made it golden). the map-creator is awsome with the whole double-commander thing being strictly brilliant. -Harvest Moon DS: avoid this game like the plague. There is one that will come out later on (will be in actual 3d, to help tell the difference in future reference). this game has soooooo many bugs in it that its totally ruined. my girlfriend and i both got this game (both of us fans of the older ones), but there's a bug in nearly every part of the game that will either make it so you can't see villagers anymore, go inside any houses anymore, or totally corrupt your game and force you to restart. bad bad bad bad and bad. -Nintendogs: yes.....i got it >.> but only because it had a german shepard in it (which i love) and i was able to teach him all his tricks in german along with dress him up in a pirate hat with a spiked collar. All-in-all, its a pretty fun tech-showing game, but if you've got a real pet......well, you get the picture. -Jump Superstars!: Another import title that is AWSOME. ever played super smash bros? (more than likely, yes) Basically this is super-smash bros, but using Jump Shonen characters instead (also 2D-comic-styled). Characters like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Bobobobo-bobo, Prince of Tennis, One Piece, and a TON of others are in here. The only downside is if your japanese isn't really up-to-par, you'll need to go somewhere like gamefaqs.com and read a walk-through to help you understand the missions of the single-player so that you can unlock all the awsome stuff to make your own comic-based team....there's really too much in it to explain shortly, but look into it or better yet, the 2nd one if you're able to. thats all i can really say for now (thats all my games so far). but be sure to stay tuned on the e3 showings going on now the new Zelda game is quite amazing (from what importers are saying) and final fantasy crystal chronicals, final fantasy revenant wings, final fantasy 4, final fantasy tactics advanced 2, dragon warrior, Front Mission (can't wait, loved it on snes), Heroes of Mana, Contra 4, Call of Duty 4, and others
