The draft. Gaming goes mainstream.

So is gaming a spectator sport now?

I saw this and thought it was neat.

Sitting around playing games is now a

respectable way to live your life.

Watch other people play games on direct tv. You don't even have to do it yourself anymore.

ive seen it on gaming channel

and i must say its pretty boring

its not like theres a huge difference between normal players and the pros

(i mean there is but from watching it on tv its pretty boring)

you really cant tell who is better

it was overall pretty boring + over enthusiastic annoucers talking about video game just make it even worse

its a video game quit talking like its the super bowl

Yay the CGS! I've got DirectTV and they've been broadcasting the CyberGaming Invitational for 2 years now. It's really cool. I've seen some really good teams play, even BF2's 20ID team which took the win for championship. Now they're doing the CyberGaming Series which, actually has it's first night tonight. I'm recording it on my DVR ;) . I'm really happy to see competitive professional video gaming starting to get into the mainstream media.

Yeah I don't think I could stand someone commenting on a game of CS:S..

"BOOM HEADSHOT!!!!"

I enjoy it, but I'm easily entertained lol. I grew up watching my bros and their friends playing video games since I've been little. I still enjoy watching someone play a video game to this day so I groove on watching the CGS.

But playing it yourself is so much more exciting and enjoyable...

It is, but I still sometimes like to just sit back and watch. I don't know, I'm kind of different like that I guess.

I'm kind of the same way. I was never really good at video games, so I loved watch other people do well at it. I sometimes tend to back seat game though.
hehe i never thought direct tv would come in handy. but it was really cool just seeing gaming coming into the mainstream.
