Easy kills for me. All you had to do is kept your arty close to your aa tanks and deployed smoke when I came flying in, you woulda shot me down and i would just had to flare up and fly away
July 19, 200718 yr Alright so I was talking to freefall on vent and it turns out that my ill experiences with this game are due to the noobs I was playing with and some features I didn't know about that would make the game a lot better. You really need a team that works together I'm going to give it a second chance, but this time hopefully playing with somebody I know, such as freefall or norcalxx I guess I'll do that tomorrow night when I get back from work ^_^ If it's better, I'll tell you guys so and point out how having a lousy team makes the game suck. If it isn't, then well I guess I just don't like it
July 19, 200718 yr Author This game is completely different than all RTS really...This game requires teamworks and not really too much strategy. COH, CNC games, blizzard rts games, etc. all require more of strategic kind of rts games. The typical RTS fan will go for more of a strategic game, but this game attracts FPS fans because of its camera, teamplay and VOIP.
July 19, 200718 yr -It is just a different RTS. There are other RTS games out there that have no base and 'free cameras'. Also, RTS games are tactical affairs with very little strategic thought needed...WiC, SupCom, and TA:S are the only truly strategic RTS games that come to mind at the moment. The only real new feature though is VOIP, which is really needed in the RTS community. -Not to shoot down EVERYTHING you just said Norcal, LOL. ^_^ -BTW; you, Cossu, and I need to join up and school these kids on team warfare LOL.

I didn't know that some other rts games had a 'free camera. what games are those? How is WiC more strategic than teamplay based? Are you saying that starcraft , warcraft, and all the command & conquer games are less strategic then your truly strategic WiC? (since I know those games are games that come to mind when I think about rts games.
July 19, 200718 yr ...How is WiC more strategic than teamplay based?... -Did I say that???...Nope, it is more strategic than the RTSs you mentioned, which are more of a tactical feel...Strategy and tactics are two different things:cool: ^_^ -See if you can find Urban Assult...really old RTS, but no base...you deploy your units and capture grid-locations, you can also 'drive' the units yourself.

I was arguing that it was teamplay and you were arguing that it was more strategic. Sooo...I got the feel you were saying that it was more strategic then teamplay based. Btw, what is the difference between tactics and strategies?
July 19, 200718 yr They really are the same. Tactics are the act of accomplishing a goal, while strategy is simply defined as a careful plan or method. They are, in fact, synonymous. Freefall man, you don't know what you're talking about if you're saying games like Starcraft don't take much strategy. While I personally detest the game, I used to play it all the time and can attest to the fact that a straight brawl (an action that takes very little or no strategy) does not usually win. Zergling rushes, for example, is a common strategy for the game, where the sole goal is to eliminate the enemy before he has a chance to build more powerful units. But Norcal, saying that a game is teamplay based, and not on strategy, is pretty much as contradictory as possible. Teamwork entails working together, which then in turn entails some form of strategy.
