July 28, 200718 yr http://i.l.cnn.net/cnn/2007/US/07/27/helicopter.crash/art.choppers.ap.jpg What were these guys thinking? I never would have gotten so close in the first place... A police chase through the streets of downtown Phoenix turned into a midair tragedy Friday afternoon when two television news helicopters covering the action collided and crashed to the ground in smoke and flame, killing all four people on board. www.cnn.com
July 28, 200718 yr Good that they are charging the guy who stole the car with the crew's deaths... rightly if he hadnt stolen the car they wouldnt have been there.
July 28, 200718 yr wow, always those journalists chasing stories end up dead because they ignore things, endangering their lives. Competition causes the hunt for headlines to be that fierce, making this job one of the most dangerous.
July 28, 200718 yr Good that they are charging the guy who stole the car with the crew's deaths... rightly if he hadnt stolen the car they wouldnt have been there. I don't know. The law talks about Foreseeable zone. I don't think he's responsible for the death of the 4 people, that's on the pilots' shoulders. In my opinion.

Yeah I completely agree. The one pilot was told to lower multiple times and never did. That's what he got for not listening.. The suspect wasn't shootin at the helicopters or anything, it's clearly not his fault.
July 29, 200718 yr Good that they are charging the guy who stole the car with the crew's deaths... rightly if he hadnt stolen the car they wouldnt have been there. thats just retarded! the pilots shoudl be piloting, morons. sad they lost their lives but it was faith.
July 29, 200718 yr What a tragedy....I wonder if anyone is second guessing if news about a stolen car is really worth that many lives? The News is too grim now a day's in my opinion. It seems to focus more on the bad rather than the good that happens and now we have four families grieving over something that happens all the time, it's just these reporters happened to be at the right place to report about it, but at the wrong time.
