Command and Conquer 3

Is this game good, my friend wants me to get it so I can play with him

Is it better than RTSs like starcraft, WCIII, or Company of heroes?

Is the gameplay similar?

Does anybody else own it?

It's a pretty fun game, I bought it when it first came out. I don't like any of the warcraft games, but I think it's sort of like starcraft. I actually haven't played it in a while, I got stuck in one of the campaign levels.
I didn't like it much. But I have a strict filter on the RTS games I play, since I've had Company of Heroes. Some people say they like it, some say they like it as a game but doesn't deserve to be put into the CNC series, and some (like me) say they don't prefer it. I have the game though, but I don't play.... if you want it, maybe we can work something out.

:eek: :D :eek: :o :p :thumbsdown: :p *inhale* :) :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

:p -Every one knows my story LOL

I tried the multiplayer, it's pretty fun but unless you play the game constantly your in for a big surprise. Oh, and It's 1000x better than this game called Supreme Commander. Don't get that.

ok seems like it's not worth getting, am i right?
I enjoyed it. It may not have the best replay value after you beat all the campaigns unless you like to play it online.

I would argue that CNC3 is not a bad game, and it's worth a try. If you've played the other cnc games, you're sure to like this one, as it doesn't stray a whole lot. It's futurey and fun with the units, and it sure does have it's satisfying moments. (Like laying waste to a whole base with an Ion cannon, or leveling buildings with laser tanks.) However, it's very different then a game like Company of Heroes, which is more about individual unit attacks, and strategy, than it is about RUSHING AND BLOWING &^@#!% UP. I'm not saying CNC3 isn't strategic, but it's definitely less so than Company of Heroes. I would also call it significantly different than Warcraft or Starcraft. I think it's worth a try. Check out the demo, which my BUD Norcal posted. And if you get it, hit me up, I'd be down for dominating you with one hand.

Oh, and online is RIDICULOUS. So fast paced, which is something different about this game. Not a lot of downtime in it. It's hard. You will get squashed on online a LOT. Lots of CNC freaks out there.
