Google Street View

Featured Replies

Just added a few cities recently, including Denver, though the resolution is junk on some of them you should check out the San Francisco ones! ;)

The resolution is so high you can just fly around zooming in and reading all the road signs and license plate numbers, google is watching you.

Just click street view for a list of the cities captured so far.

Although this program does have its practical applications, such as making directions easier to understand, it does seem a bit invasive in my opinion.

I see positive as well as negative potentials off this program, if someone wanted to plan a robbery or an attack on a building he would be able to look at all the angles of the building as well as see any guards or other potential obstacles to the objective, i think sensitive materials such as banks, peoples license plates, and other types of buildings more prone to theft and attack should be left off google maps, other then that, way to go google!
