Florida Man Sentenced for Posting Ex-Girlfriend's Nude Teen Pictures Online

A Florida man was sentenced to month in jail Friday for posting naked pictures of his girlfriend after she broke up with him.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said Anthony Rich was convicted of child abuse for getting even with the his former lover by digging up a naked picture he took of her when was 15 and placing it on her MySpace.com account, according to a report from MyFOXTampaBay.com.

Deputies said he made hundreds of copies and passed them around.

"He doesn't defend it, he's not saying 'I was right,' Brett McIntosh, Rich's attorney told MyFoxTampaBay. "He did it because he was angry at her and this is the way he was getting back at her."

Rich was also ordered to serve a year's house arrest, and four year's probation.

Original charges filed by prosecutors would have branded Rich a sex offender for life, but his lawyer got the charges reduced to child abuse.

The guy is 17. Not like he's some 29yr old pervert with a 15yr old girlfriend. He shouldn't have done it, it was really wrong, but young people make impetuous decisions sometimes and bad stuff happens and people get hurt. This stuff is bound to happen in this age of information. Every kid has a digital camera, a connection to the internet and a myspace page. You get mad you post some embarrassing pictures, it seems like fun when you do it. You don't think about the consequences. It's today's society, you can't stop it. It's general attributes are no respect for privacy, no notions of intellectual property, no morals, etc.. help me out with this one. Anyway with more and more kids being raised by underpaid under appreciated teachers who can't make themselves care anymore, and parents buying their kids cooperation with gizmos instead of butt whoopings. What do you expect? Kids are gonna see this and think, 'why didn't I ever think to do that to my ex girlfriend?' It will only get worse and never get better. This is it people, the end is near! Mark my words! You will see! All of you will see! Trust me! It is happening, right now! There's no stopping it! I'm serious!

wooooooooo easy, take a big drink of some calm down juice:D

This sort of thing isn't a new thing it's been going on since pictures were invented. It's alot easier to share them over the internet but a few of these sort of cases and a judge making an example of a few people will think twice before doing this.

Wow Child Abuse I have seen people who really did commit that crime go in for less! I think chracter defamations or something of that nature would have been more suiting. He didnt abuse her he embarrased her. Although maybe child pornography would have been suited also due tot he fact that she was only 15 in the picture. Child Abuse though give me a break he should have gotten a better lawyer...And he should have never been so stupid as to get back at her like that there are plenty of other legal ways !!!!

As funny as that was, that was just silly. What I think you said is that young people don't have a sense of right and wrong, consequences of their actions, and no respect for their peers feelings. Now, I'm not sure what you really said, I probably misunderstood so I'm not gonna argue until I know what you were implying.
