You can get a 320Mb 8800 GTS for <$300 and that will handle even upcoming games. Excluding that, I'd get the 8600 GT as that selection might alter PCI-E power availability in the system (as opposed to the integrated). Of course, I am not certain how Dell handles the components.

It belongs to Wifey's brother, but I'm borrowing it indefinitely (until he decides he wants it back). If he ever takes it back from me, I have my 19" CRT in the closet. I could use that if needed. But the prospect of a widescreen 20 inch is pretty nice. HM! ESKIMO MAYBE GENIOUS

September 7, 200718 yr yeah a 256 would be much better than that 128 card. I think that that system could handle BF2142 just fine with the 128, but you would have to cut the settings low on upcoming games (and where is the fun in building a computer if you can't jack up the settings :thumbsup: )
