September 12, 200718 yr What's the difference? Newegg just sent me a mailer, and the Logitech G11 is 53.99$ with free shipping. I have been thinking about a G15. What are your thoughts on this?

September 12, 200718 yr The only difference I really see is that the G11 is the old G15, just without the flip-up LCD screen. The new G15 (unreleased) has fewer programmable "G" keys, the LCD display is fixed instead of the flip-up and has the black/orange LCD screen and orange backlight keys (the old G15 has the black/white LCD screen with blue backlight for the keys). Supposedly the old G15 still used USB 1.1 maybe the new G15 will get to USB 2.0. That's all I could really spot.

September 12, 200718 yr If you've never owned/used a G15, let me tell you that the LCD screen isn't as gimmicky as it first appeared to me. I don't think the "G" keys are that useful, programmable keys are useful for sure, but in a game they need to be in a place where I can access them without moving away from my normal "wasd" area. The LCD screen proved to be exponentially more useful to me. As therobomega mentioned, there is a redesigned G15 being released and I will try to pick this one up; I really miss the LCD screen. There are a lot of useful applications for the G15 (i.e. a ventrilo app that shows you who's talking, you can change rooms, etc.) all without leaving the game to do it! Plus it works with most games that I have tried.
