Posted September 13, 200718 yr I've been sniped by the fixed anti-vehicle turret maybe a dozen times in the past month while on foot as an infantryman--usually I'm moving when shot, too. Are people using an aimbot for this? Or just have a high sensitivity setting and trying to challenge themselves? Just curious. I have to admit, it's pretty funny when it happens.
September 13, 200718 yr I can tell you how I use it...quite effectively I might add. I use a logitech G5 that I use for gaming and when I enter the turret I adjust the sensitivity to its highest setting. This allows me to move it quickly when not zoomed in and to track moving targets when zoomed in. The greatest thing is it KILLS the person and makes a difference in thinning out a squad; then wait for one of the medics to run back to them and try to revive = hilarity.
September 13, 200718 yr My highest sensitivity setting is up all the way on my G5. I specifically use it just for the Rorsch AT turret. LOL and I love it when people start bunny hopping after my first shot and I miss, when I hit them in the air... they go flying
September 13, 200718 yr Yeah, you need either very high regular sensitivity or a mouse with sensitivity change, such as a G5. I use a MX518 Logitech mouse, it's pretty close to the G5. It's really fun because it's very acurate at long range, if someone's within sight, you'll be able to take him down easily.
September 13, 200718 yr Its actually very easy to do if u have a G-5 then u can do it. Just zoom it in and pump up the dpi on the laser and ur good to go. I do it alot and considering its an instant death shot u won't be revived. Good for taking out tickets in a tight game:D
September 13, 200718 yr lol Ive only been able to hit a couple times with it, but then I havent played in months either lol:D
September 13, 200718 yr That rorsch on the middle flag in tunis is probably the best spot in our map rotation. The other day I sat there and killed 17 guys in a row, good times. 2000dpi FTW
September 13, 200718 yr I like to use the turrets. I have the G5 mouse, but I don't change the sensitivity on it. Never really needed a reason to change the sensitivity when I find a good turret. The NS maps seem to have some of the best turret placements for doing this, IMO.
September 13, 200718 yr Hell, killing infantry with the AT turret was one of my favorite things to do in BF2142. I raised the sensitivity a lot when I did it.
September 13, 200718 yr I never use the zoom on the rorsch and I still kill people, just not long distance.
September 13, 200718 yr No, I've got several dozen kills using this weapon, on foot soldiers. It adds up to sheer luck!
September 13, 200718 yr I've done it a few times before, it's much easier with a mouse that allows you to turn up the sensitivity.
September 14, 200718 yr aim bot wouldn't work on this because the rocket would take to long to get to u, u have to aim in front of the person and where there going
September 14, 200718 yr Nah UnderSpy he is talking about that rail gun like weapon that when zoomed takes forever to move.
September 14, 200718 yr Sensitivity changing wimps! I take out infantry and air targets with the Rorsch, and I use just a plain old MX1000.
