Well has anyone?

 

My brother recently joined the US Marines and his graduation from basic is coming up next month. But I am kinda confused as to what day to show up.

 

From the looks of it its a Thursday and Friday event (Friday = graduation ceremony). So I am not sure whether I am suppose to be there both days or can I just come on the day of graduation (Friday)?

 

 

I am sending my brother a letter tomorrow to find out more about it, since the information stuff he sent before isn't all that clear to me.

Well not San Diego but live a stones throw from PI. they are probably the same. Thur is family day where the get there anchor and globe and spend the afternoon showing you what the were up to for the last 13 weeks. cant leave the base but are free to hang with you. And then Fri is when they grad takes about a hour and then they go home . Just let me restate this is PI in sc but prob the same

From the looks of it it seems the same.

Well thursday will be the family day where he gets to walk around and hang out with his family, and then friday is the graduation. If you wanna hang out with him for a little bit on family day then go on thursday if you just want to go to the grad then go friday. Hope that helps:D
