Macgyver
9200 is too slow from my experience. It id direct X 9 if I am not mistaken but still slow. What games are you into.?I need to know.......What is your computer Model number. You might not have an AGP slot. This is very important.
Mystik_MDS
-Scorpio]I have no AGP slot, and fast paced games like FA. Model number is P7513A ^ thats why i suggested the 9200 128 MB ddr cause its pci thats the highest ati that i've found in pci edition there is an nvidia 5600fx 128mb DDR pci if i remember correctly not sure how much that will run you though
Vandal
Well, the processor and RAM might be a bit of a bottleneck, as well as the PCI slot, the video card notwithstanding. Honestly I'd recommend waiting a while until PCI Express comes out, saving your money until then. Then buy a whole new system. With the new PCI Express, AGP will become obsolete. Until then, if you really need a replacement, go with what one of these fellas said. I'd also check www.pricewatch.com as well as www.newegg.com. Well...that's about all I have to say. Hope it helped!
Mystik_MDS
yeah if you dont plan on building a whole new computer and dont wanna drop more than 100 i would recommend the 9200 128 mb ddr pci or the gf fx 5200 128 mb ddr pci both can be found on newegg.com

DeadRoach
Well, your first problem is running that dang Celeron. *chuckle* I work with those dang things at work, and I've learned to despise the Celeron. Not as much as I despise those old Cyrix CPU's, but pretty dang close. I have considerably more service calls concerning performance issues from customers using our Intel Celeron powered computers than I do from the customers running AMD Athlons.ATI chipsets used to be a terrible choice, but that seems to have changed. Going on the advice of a trusted friend, I bought this Radeon 9000 with 128 megs of RAM. I haven't had any problems with it. And from what I've been hearing, that seems to be the norm. ATI seems to have finally got it together and made a quality product. At anyrate, I'm happy to hear you are working out your probs. Shoot, we all go thru them from time to time. *chuckle* My system has been getting increasingly unstable. It may be time for me to do a clean install soon. *cringe*
