WSAENOTSOCK
Sadly, I have already done that, Mac. Its not so much as getting the pop-ups, I actually have 2 pop-up stoppers. It is the toolbar that my little brother downloaded, now I can do nothing. I have no idea what it is, either. It's blue.
Eskimo
if you must use IE try MyIE2 or Avant browser both are real good browsers that works with IE but blocks popups automatically and have other great features. I myself use Mozilla which is a stand alone application that doesnt need IE to run (more stable) and blocks popups automatically

Teladro
I dunno if it's fixed yet, but here's mine. I had the same crap happinin. If another window tried to open up (such as right click -> open in new window) explorer would just crash. The toobar name lookes kinda the same. adware didn't work for me. neither did reinstall of IE. I had to reformat to fix the problem. Didn't try the other toolbars. Reformattings easy for me, as I keep the most importat stuff on memory keys.
WSAENOTSOCK
It's hard to reformat for 5 people... Mac: How would I find the toolbar name?
