I want an ak-47 or ak-74anyone know any good sites for those?

You can find Ak-47s and Ak-74s all over the place. Gunshows usually have a pretty good number of them, it's where I got my Ak-47.I would avoid the Ak-74 if you are new to Kalashnikov type rifles. The 5.45x39mm is a pretty hard to find round in the US, and when you do find some, it's a bit more expensive (than 7.62 anyway). They do make Ak-74s in 5.56x45mm (.223), which means ammo wont be a problem, but finding magazines will. The magazines for the .223 versions are more expensive and harder to find. So, if your new, I'd go with the Ak-47. Ammo can be found for under $2 a box of 20, and magazines are usually under $15.Now your only problem is choosing which type of Ak-47 to get! I have a SAR-1, which are probably the least expensive. However, some of them do have problems, so I can't recommend it to you, unless you plan on doing some tinkering.I'd get a MAK-90, it's a chinese made Ak-47. They are well made, the only drawback being the thumbhole stock.Any of the Bulgarian Aks are good choices as well, but they are going to cost you a bit more.

Have you ever shot a m60 in prone position...in real life of coursemy dad is in the army and for the "Goto your Parent's Work Day" at school...I got to goto the military training camp and got to fire off an entire clip of an m60, SSG3000 (I only got to shoot one bullet of the SSG since it near flew out of my hands), a whole clip of an m16 (not as hard as it seems) and got to see three snipers doods with m82s shoot the heads off dummies from about 200 yards away

I guess I'll never get to have a go with any of those, see, things are a bit tight over here in the UK with regards to shotguns let alone firearms. Ah well, I can still dream.HUGH JASS
