I was just wondering if any of you downloaded this mod and tried it? The Battleracer Mod 1.2.... It looks kinda fun. This Info from www.totalbf2.com Battleracer v1.21 ReleasedMay 20th, 2006 | 06:29 PM | 28 Comments The team behind the Battleracer mod have released the latest version (1.21) of their mod today. This new release brings about some changes and new features. Here is a quick description as well as some of the changes: This mod strives to turn the battlefields of BF2 into racetracks. You can jump into DPVs on various racetracks (some new, some actually based on BF2 maps) and race! A big feature of Battleracer is the +R stat system. On 'Battleracer Ranked' servers, the results of your races are uploaded to a website where you can keep track of your accomplishments and records. -The DPV handling has changed, to make it slightly more difficult but also lighter for longer jumps. -The DPV has a front-mounted minigun that the driver can fire with the AltFire key (default is right mouse button). -All tracks have been upgraded with more car spawns and spawnpoints, to ensure that everybody gets a place at the start line -A flare gun has been added to the racer kit. I don't know how many of you get a chance to watch TV, but I have found a pretty interesting show on the Discovery channel. Its called Future Weapons and it is hosted by an ex-navy seal. So far the first 4 episodes have been very cool. You guys should check it out. It comes on at 8 CST on Wednesdays. Ex. of an episode DSC — FutureWeapons No Place to Hide From guns that shoot around corners to the worlds most advanced supersonic jet fighter, to the mighty Panzer Howitzer field cannon, these weapons leave the enemy no place to hide. If you think you're safe, in a bunker, think again.

I agree with you guys...I am a bit bored with it all. I get to where I care too much for the score and not on the game play. I also miss some of the lesser-played maps. I have been playing a little CS:Source and HLDM and its been anice change of pace. BTW....I like the idea of a OLD vs YOUNG match....I enjoy playing with all you guys/gals and the scrim sounds like a great time.
