I <3 the APC
I need to get me in on this 2142 action! I've finally gotten to the point where I want to get into game with all of you but I can't afford the game at the moment. I know it's only $50(avg. price of course) but that's a lot of money to spend on one item for a college student who only works part-time and is a life-debter when it comes to money that has to go to the parental unit for bills. *pouts* I will be a 2142 player soon darn it!

[sig]Request for WC :-D
Hey peeps! Now that I have an idea for a more personalized sig I thought I'd throw my ideas out there and see who'd be able to help me out a little bit. "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder is one of my favorite songs that's out on the airwaves right now. What I'm looking for with this sig is pretty simple: A set of "puckered" red lips on the left side of the sig with "Lips of an angel..." written at the bottom of the sig. On the right side of the sig I'd like to have my initials there, with a cursive look to them. Colors? I love the combo of purple and silver. I realize this sounds pretty basic so if you have any other ideas to throw onto the sig feel free to go ahead and do so! There are SO many talented Sig creators here(my current sig is courtesy of Klink! ) and I know whoever takes on this challenge will create an original piece of artwork. Thank you ahead of time to whoever creates my sig!

WTH man... snow O_O
wow, I lied...about 20 minutes after I posted this I went upstairs and when I looked out the window, I saw SNOW!!! it's not sticking to the ground or anything but still...this is a little early for snow to hit us but oh well, that's what you get when you live near a one of the Great Lakes and Canada is your neighbor to the north

WTH man... snow O_O
Here in the Cleveland area, we may be having a freeze warning tonight. I saw that on the news last night and was like oooooooooooooo h-e-double-hockey-sticks no! That freezeover had better not deter my travel plans for Friday! But, I've been keeping up with the weather forecast for here and over in the Poconos and it's going to be SUNNY for myself and WhiteNine when we're there. w00t! *does a happy dance* Yay for no snow! (we'll get our first taste of it by Halloween, I can pretty much guarantee that haha)

Internet Cafe
I've been to one YEARS ago w/my aunt...I never used the computers myself but it seemed like a pretty neat thing to try. The place I went to was expensive, and I know Arabica has a cover charge or something to use wireless internet services for your laptop while you're in their coffee shop. *shrugs* I'm also interested on hearing other people's opinions on this because like I said, it'd be a neat thing to try!

snake...
That's awesome! I wish I could draw like that, in PS or by hand...very good job! I agree with TigerHawk, the expression on the snake's face is hilarious! *two thumb's up*

Happy Tanksgiving Canadians
Happy Thanksgiving to my neighbors from across the lake! (Lake Erie, that is haha) They do teach some Canadian history in schools, Klink. I learned about the harvest thing AND I remember learning about Samuel de Champlain. that name was drilled into me at my school. I think I learned about him in, 5th or 6th grade? (damn, that was a long time ago LOL I feel old...)

Anyone familiar with...
...the Pocono Mountain area in northeastern PA? W9 and I are going there next weekend and we're trying to find a cheap yet decent hotel to stay at in the area. I've been trying CheapTickets and Orbitz on the net and there are just so many options, it's hard to decide on which place to make reservations at. If anyone has ever traveled there or has suggestions on an affordable place to stay(don't even say Motel-6, lol) please PM me and let me know! Thanks guys.

Donate 20$, You Get TC:Ghost Recon & TR:Legend
Oh man those games sound interesting/fun and well, I would like to get a good game collection going so I could find something else to do in my spare time. I'm a little short-handed at the moment though, with having to save up for going out of town next weekend and I'm pretty much in debt with my mother for life from past bills and stuff so yeah, it sucks. Otherwise I would totally donate! And I do plan on donating SOMETHING to the site eventually so who knows.

Best Dang Birthday/Gift?
Yes, I voted for a vacation or a trip to somewhere. And I do get a trip next week when W9 and I go out of town for the weekend...(REALLY lookin forward to getting away from "the norm" for a few days!) Another reason I said "vacation" is because for my 10th birthday my parents took me up to Niagara Falls for a full weekend. It was one of the best birthdays I've ever had. This year's gonna be a little rough for me(my bday's comin up on the 10th) and it'll be my first birthday to be celebrated without my dad being here. It's still kind of hard to believe at sometimes that he's gone even though I know he's here in spirit. But, I'm going to try to not get too down about it because knowing him he would yell at me if I'm sad all day on my birthday and I don't enjoy it to its fullest. I also have to listen to one of the best pieces of advice he'd ever given me: "Don't ever mix your drinks. Pick one type of drink for the night and stick with it. You won't have too bad of a hangover if you don't mix your drinks." Yeah, my dad was one of the cool guys...

You Got Skillz? You Got Talents?
lmao...that's good to know

You Got Skillz? You Got Talents?
orch dorks? haha that's nifty, I haven't heard that one yet. I'm not an orch dork but I *was* in the PIT orchestra for 3 years. "the bottomless moose pit" haha, W9 was part of it too my last year during our school's production of "Pippin". that was muy awesome. fun times! I give you credit for playing the viola...anyone who can play viola or violin amazes me, it seems like a difficult instrument to learn. (kind of like the um, electric guitar. lol)

You Got Skillz? You Got Talents?
I've always been pretty good with vocabulary - give me new words and I'll read their definitions over a few times and I'll have them both memorized within a short period of time. I'm a fairly decent writer. I've even started writing my first novel! It's going to take a LONG time to finish but hey, did Stephen King ever write a 700+ page novel over night? Didn't think so. I also love to write poetry and I can interpret it pretty well. I am VERY intuitive. I tend to trust my gut instinct on things and at least 90% of the time I'm always right. I also have the ability to "place myself in other people's shoes" in order to help understand other people better and why they may be acting the way they are in any given situation. I have a vast interest in Psychology - so much so that I'm proclaiming it as my major! Once I earn my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts I'll be transfering to a 4-year university to work towards my BA in Psychology then towards a Master's degree in School Psychology. I want to work as a counselor with junior high students. The junior high school years are some of the toughest years of a young person's life so I want to be able to help them understand some of the challenges they are facing and will be facing with a brighter perspective. Of course being a guidance counselor involves much more than that but, I don't want to take up TOO much thread space. I also have a knack for appreciating music in all of its forms. I've played the clarinet for 12 years, I'm a self-taught pianist(been playin for about...9 years now). I even played the oboe when I was in 6th grade and I picked it up again in 11th grade. I'm a band geek - band geeks rule! Okay, that's as much "boasting" from me as you're gonna get. I'm usually pretty modest about stuff I'm "good" at so you can thank my being overtired and wanting to deter away from English Lit. homework for telling you a little more about myself.

HEY! there is nothing wrong with being emo (unless you're W9 and he has to deal with my constant emo-ness, then that's a different story - I'm sure ya'll have heard a few lol but hey, I can't help it! you can't always be in control of your emotions )
