  1. Well I finally got my new step-up card from evga. I went from a perfectly good working evga 7800 GT to a evga 7900 GT KO superclocked. The only problem is when I opened the box, one of the cards capacitors was sitting in the clear plastic case not attached to my brand new video card. So now I have to wait 1-2 more weeks for a replacement on top of the 2 months I have already waited due to being backordered. And to top it all off, because I live in Canada they wont give ma a postage paid slip which means I have to cover the shipping for the third time now:mad: It just makes me mad because I didnt buy a broken video card and now I have to shell out another 30 bucks so they will ship me a working one on top of what i've already paid for it. Thats life I guess....... :warning:

    good luck
  3. Either way is fine for me, I do prefer SF because u get alot less bull like TKs and people waiting around for vehicles and such, it still happens but not near as to the extent of vanilla, also there is more ground pounders which is always fun. Not running into a tank everytime you turn a corner!!!!!that being said, I still enjoy vanilla and AF once in a while as a change of pace

understandable, I realize the groung pounders are at a disadvantage, thats what I mean when I say either way on/off someone is at a disadvantage weather it be the chopper or ground troops. Either way is ok with me, just means more practise if the descision is to leave it off. Also when I fly jets/planes I always use the cockpit view for the realism plus it gives me a better idea of where i am in terms of hitting the ground and such, I dont know but for some reason I fly jets much better while in cockpit view, just a personal prefrence, choppers though I do like to use the nosecam only because alot of what your shooting at is below you, also in a plane you get the nice little markers so u can see what your shooting at long before its in your actual view. Just thought I would add my input:)

well, im kind of neutral, there are pluses and negitives to either or, I personally would prefer the nosecam on only because the actual viewing area is about 25% then all you can see is cockpit, if its a realism issue, then really the choppers should be equiped with radar and you would see everything without even looking out the window, also a gunner in a real chopper would have the same view as nosecam, It would be much better if you could turn it off for the pilot, and leave it on for the gunner. But unfortunitly we cant, so either way is a loss for somebody
  6. well im not where i thought i would be because 1) they have changed the ranks from what they were when I originally bought the game and 2) I never really set any goals for where I wanted to be. But im happy with where im at even though I find myself playing alot less.
  7. I actually enjoy using engineer, I have expert engineer combat and repair and over 100 hours on it. The mines can be very useful if your good enough and I like the jackhammer as opposed to the DAO because of the shorter reload time, just dont like the 5 round clip. I think engineer is most usefull when you plan to be in a tank the entire round.
  8. that would be nice, lets hope its true
  9. that has been discussed on the ea forums plenty of times, I think that would be a cool idea but I doubt it will happen.
  10. I agree.....
  11. i actually enjoyed AF, But im sure it would lose its novelty after a few weeks, I think It would be cool to have the best maps from reg, EU, and AF in one server, like 2-3 maps from each.
