Whats up everyone, just thought I'd take the time to drop a line. Been awhile since I've posted or made any contact. I have been so busy lately with work and home issues that I haven't had the time to sit back and enjoy a good game. I have been laid up a bit with back surgery about a month ago. Things have been neglected and I cant get any free time. Anyway, my opinion has changed about EA. I have really been disappointed with them and all of the newer games and patches (ie battlefield 2 and 2142). You know... CTD, laggy, noobs(including myself), and cheating/hacking. So therefore I dont play these very often (which is why U havent seen me...). I don't even own 2142 (played the demo an HATED it!!). My true passion lies with BFV and 1942. These were the games that really worked!! Besides, I am a lover of history so they appeal to me more. One MOD that I am waiting for is EOD for BF2. If it's anything like their others it will be a good one. Well I have stood on my soapbox long enough so I will bid you all farewell. If you want to play either BFV or 1942 look me up. I play a lot on a server called "knights of the realm" it has a good ping for me and the players are friendly. See you in history, OUT!

Hey everyone, just thought I would start a thread about mods. I sometimes get bored easily with the same ol' gameplay in BF2, so its nice to switch to BFV or BF42 or a mod. Problem is, a lot of mods look good but are buggy. Which ones do you have the best luck with playing or are your favorite? :thumbsup:

I also have been on both sides of the spawn-camping situation. We all agree that this is a game and it is very hard to enforce the "RULES." My point is that when your team is weaker and cant get another flag... it forces players to quit, join the other team, or just continue to get pounded. Many I have seen do the first (quit), which is not good for the server traffic. I really like the POE mod for the "dome of doom." its too bad that BF2 cant employ this and put the assets outside the dome. OUT!
