What is pod exploiting?
My understanding was that flying the pod is just a normal tactic. YOu can aim at men and at FAVs and kill them with a pod hit. Not cheating far as I know! The cheat was when you flew all over the place (a hack) and wasn't forced to land... What the heck is the difference between a hack, a cheat and an exploit? (hmmmm)

Vehicle Soft spots
knees on battle walkers, side vents on APC's (little vents on side near ends) (both of these only "soft" with pilums, rockets, etc., I do believe...), tanks, back of course (I love one-shot pilum kills on tanks!) hmmm, there must be some on aircraft...

I'm Back.
Way to go, Niner... did you know you were the first clan member I talked with? (on vent?). Hopefully I will finally get some time myself to start playing again!

Your favorite sandwich?
Ha ha.. here is one (RECONstitute some dry bread, Add A-SALT, (and a-pepper), SUPPORT it with a plate, ENGINEER it with toppings of your choice, and if you get heartburn, call a Medic!) :-)
-
Your favorite sandwich?
I love all the sandwich recommendations! This a cool post. Nothing whatsoever to do with BF or gaming (unless you can use pickles or cans of tuna or something in lieu of grenades!), but I am enjoying!

Play to lose???
The problem is, no game will ever be perfect. Remember, it is just a game! I for one am not a super-skill player, but I find things in the game I like to do, and have fun! I play fair, and don't do annoying things (on purpose!) because I want others to have fun, too! my 2 cents...

Gotta say it
I have been so darn busy I have no time! I am one of the not-so-skilled, but I love to play. My time schedule (when I play) is usually like 4:00 am, no one is up yet! (well, maybe in Ireland...) lol but I play when I can... I have been thinking of spending what playing time I have on BF2, although I love some of the NS maps! Either way, I don't think we are going anywhere, we are all just "in-between-games" (sort of like "in-between-jobs?" lol) See you on-server.... Oh, and for those who have seen me on-line, my mic is dead, but I will fixee fixee soon, so I have not been on Ven! I do not mean to offend with no voice (of course, some people I know think my silence is golden! :-) ) Ciao...

bounce little bunny...death
Nice story... I am with GA, in close quarters ( A Titan Console hallway, for example) it might buy you a second or two... like anything else, I think it is just a tactic that is useful sometimes, and sometimes not. I love your teamwork tactic, though... wish I could have a spotter when sniping!

For your enjoyment... and edumacation!
The origin of the title "Sniper" greenspun.com : LUSENET : MILDOT : One Thread Moderator: longrange@swipnet.se This isn't a question, it's a brief explanation of the history of the word "sniper." Many of you may already know it, and if so, just skip it and don't *****. SNIPE: Any of various long-billed shore birds of the genus Gallinago or Capella. A sniper was original someone who hunted snipe. A snipe isn't a particularly meaty bird, or a good-tasting one at that. It's uniqueness is in that of it's ability to escape hunters. It's ocnsidered one of the hardest small-prey to hit. So called "snipers" originally hunted the bird for practice, for bigger game. Eventually, many a hunter targetted the bird for honor and bragging rights, and this lead to sniping tournaments. The definition of "Sniper" has changed a lot since then, but still based on the same idea of stalking and scouting, while the acheiving your ultimate goal of taking out your target (mostly from a concealed location, long range). -- Steve Leo (steve@steveleo.com), October 12, 2003 Answers Sniper - It's a British term (for those of you whom have never shot snipe in the UK, they are uncanny little buggers who fly an undulating, weaving pattern at remarkable speed)These shore birds are often found inland and prefer a mix of woodland, pastures and water. Therefore, in the days of old, anyone who managed to bring one down was considered somewhat of a marksman - sniper if you will. I say, jefferies is a bit of a sniper old chap. Watch him. -- James Blobson (uncleblob@yahoo.com), November 17, 2003
