A handful of us VSFers have been playing it quite a bit lately.

Boycott EA!! BF2142 was designed so that anyone can jump in and do well. All of the weapons are weaker compared to BF2, and everone has access to body armor. The air element is minimal, vehicles have questionable limitations, and the point system is more than a little inflated. I really enjoy the way 2142 encourages good squad work,and I do enjoy stomping around in a walker. But I find that 2142 has no depth. BF2 on the other hand is still entertaining. There are so many different elements to master that one can spend several hundred hours on the game and still find new ways to have fun. Anyways, I regret paying $50 for 2142, and I'm not about to spend another $10 on it.

I did some grammar correction for ya AAM. Those two rounds of Sharqi were a lot of work. Even though the MI-28 has an awesome gun, it simply can't compete for rate of climb and manueverability against the AH-1Z. So it was probably and even match between the two rounds because whoever had the Cobra had the upper hand.

2142. And it seems that the general consensus is 2 rounds conquest, 2 rounds titan, occuring on this Saturday 1-6-07. But we really need to lay out and agree on ground rules.

Just like they could have told us about the ingame billboards well before the official release of BF2142.

How about a billboard which criticizes EA and its billboards. And don't forget to add an "infinite loop of billboards" inset in the original billboard.

Actually, I may be able to afford them after Christmas. Just have to make sure all my expenses are covered, and I can afford tuition for next semester. Anyways, it sounds like an awesome deal, and I could really use it since I'm currently stuck with 2 256MB and 1 512MB sticks of corsair CAS2 on a three slot board. What CAS lateny are they?
