Hmmm...looks like a job for a torx wrench. The head of a torx wrench is a six-pointed star with a hole in the middle, and they make them in different sizes. Looking at the picture the notches you'd put the wrench into appear to be stripped, so it may be difficult. Just a thought

I was on a knife server for a while (first time ever actually) and it did flash up the silver Collector's Badge as well as several collector's, a few emergency rescue, and a couple of combat efficiency pins in-game. It did give me the XP for all the knife kills and awards, and I think it counted the total dogtags, but it hasn't actually shown the awards.

Hmmm...I was a huge fan of RA2/YR (even made a couple of skirmish maps for YR), so I'll probably have to get this when it comes out.

COD4 seems to have the largest following right now, though I see a lot of those 11,000+ servers empty. I've been primarily playing COD4 lately, but I still play 2142, and I've actually been going back to it when I get completely fed up with COD4 (after seeing that video of the Clark I actually got inspired to start playing 2142 again and start using it...me likes the Clark now). It is the first FPS I've actually played online, and it's the game I'm the strongest in at the moment. Despite all the problems and annoyances, 2142 is still an enjoyable game to play. But I guess at some point I'll need to get more into ETQW or BF2 if I want an alternative to COD4. It'll be a shame if the 2142 server goes away, but if no one actually plays on it I can see the reasons for putting some other game on it (I haven't seen the city maps server in the server list lately). If it were up to me, I wouldn't mind seeing a second COD4 non-hardcore server with a mix of all game types/maps and the killcam off, but that's just me.

Doesn't affect me too much as I don't have an HDTV, but at least it's finally been decided. GT5 may be the only reason I'd get a PS3 (always loved the GT series, have every game, including the US and Japanese versions of GT2, though right now I'm in ho hurry to get another console.

I got a LAN-party case because I was wanting to build a set that I could take with me on trips, yet would still be easily upgradable (you're limited on what you can upgrade with a laptop, and any decent gaming laptop would be about 5-6 times what this system ended up costing me). I'm thinking about building a full-size system for gaming at some point and just using this one to take with me on trips. Both of those actually inspired me to revisit 2142 and take up the Clark after having not played it for a few months.

True, a lot of clans use vent or TS (The MC clan I recently joined uses TS) Even though I typically prefer using silencers, and lately I've been martyrdom-free (I still have it in one of my kits though), I might have to try that G36+M203/M4+M203 kit (or M4+M203/M16+M203) at some point. Sounds like an interesting loadout to play. I think my favorite kit right now is this: G36C w/silencer Deagle (though I've also had fun dropping this and picking up someone else's weapon) Perk 1: Bandolier Perk 2: Double Tap Perk 3: Steady Aim I call this my Hardcore kit because I like to use this when playing on hardcore servers. I've like the GT-R since the first Gran Turismo came out for the PS1. Though it's a bit dated now, the R34 is a dream car of mine. Not that I'll ever be able to afford it, but I wonder if the 2008 version will come in purple...

Sweet...Been playing the demo to get familiar with the game. Seems to be a cool game but I was waiting for the price to come down before getting another game. I wasn't expecting to be able to get ET:QW so cheap so soon. Had to pick it up. COD4, BF2142, BF2 and its expansions, World in Conflict, and now ET:QW...So many games, so little time...

I think what I had to do was install 2142, install 1.4, then install NS, then install 1.4 again. Whacked way to do a patch IMO.

THe best part about Christmas is being with family We had our family get-togther on the 24th, and it was the first in a long time we were able to get everyone in the immediate family together (one of my sister's daughters had a civilian job in Kuwait City the last 2 1/2 years, another ran off and joined the Air Force and is stationed in Missouri as a flight nurse). So the last few years usually someone wasn't able to come. All in all we had some 15 people at my folks' small house for the festivities, and a great time was had by all. I hear about problems some people have had with their families and I do feel fortunate that I have one that genuinely likes getting together. THat being said, getting/receiving presents is fun too

Looks like a sweet car...one of my dream cars is a GT-R (R34 mainly, I kind of like its design. I could get used to this though...Pity I'll probably never have the money to afford one)

Hey all, I did a search before posting this but couldn't find an answer to this question I have. This may be a dumb question (or it'll reveal how much of a true newbie I really am lol) but there's something about COD4 I don't quite understand. The FAQ said you can cook grenades, and one of the challenges in the game involves getting 5 kills with cooked grenades. Could someone tell me what "cooked grenades" are, and how you get them in the game? Take Care

I'm pretty much a fan of any map I can get more kills than deaths in a round (have to cherish those, as it doesn't happen often ) Seriously, though, my current favorite maps to play on are Crash, Backlot, and Overgrown.

I heard they were trying to get him to reprise his original role. Can't remember if they succeeded though
